There are several larger numbers than 43, Kiwi.

McNuggets are sold in sets of 6, 9 or 20, so if you got a 6, two 9s and a 20, you would have 44.

Through various combinations, it's possible to make any number higher than 43.
Jesus Christ, what have we come to?

Bugger. I was going to have fun with that. You must be a true McDonalds aficionado, Ninesy.

I remember the question from a pub quiz I attended and had to look it up. I couldn't understand the mathematical explanation but remembered the answer.

Back with a question in a moment ...

The English dramatist Tom Taylor wrote the play 'Our American Cousin.' What event gave this play notoriety?

Lincoln's assassination then.

That's the one. That was the play Lincoln was watching when he was assassinated by Wilkes Booth. I've been to the Ford theatre in Washington DC where this occurred. It's a good visit and it's free, you can also visit the house and bedroom where he died which has been preserved untouched to this day.

Here's a good article relating to the event ... https://www.theguardian.com/stage/2015/apr/06/our-american-cousin-lincoln-theatre-john-wilkes-booth
