why not think "big" and merge all the OT ****e into one big thread and every time someone is wildy amusing their stuff stays ONE day and then is merged into said thread.

incentive of being witty is to be seen as such for a day ad incentive is to be witty again ...and dare i say it not whiney cos the one decent thing you said while "stoned" t a bus stop ended up being funny and then you decide to rest on said laurels for the rest of the week... .encourage the next humorous outbreak for the following day.

a) don't want to be old 606 where a friday joke page is pulled cos some asshole is a manc.

Yeah but who decides where the balance lies. There's the rub.
 
Sisu has this right (yes you did just read me write that <yikes>), when he has an OT subject, he clearly marks it as such & people can clearly see the subject matter, if they choose to read it & contribute then they can, otherwise merely ignore it.

That works fine, I don't see where the issue is, as there's never that many threads started that they drowns out everything else.

Could also put "May contain Tobes" in the title of some threads also. <whistle>
