What's Burnsy on about? Something about a banner in the away end with a phonebox on it? I keep hearing half of what he's saying about it and it makes no sense at all.
I perfectly understand why people are disagreeing with me, just giving my opinion that I believe more harm will come from a cup run than good, in the long term anyways.
If we weren't fighting relegation and we were a bit more comfortable, I would be all for a cup run. But I just think it might get in the way for this season.
This does seem to be at odds with your views on City players in international squads, though. Surely they get in the way too - potentially even more, given the travel and potential intensity of those matches, compared to League Cup matches in which the important players aren't even involved?
