I actually am not as angry about this as you might think, but we weren’t paying Championship level wages according to this image.

But that’s not necessarily a bad thing as Championship finances are nuts. But if the Allams have any sort of ambition, they are going to have to find a way to bring more money into the club.
Where you got that from??? Sheff u??!!!!

What season was this Drew?

It’s from Kieran Maguire’s recent summary of Middlesbrough’s recent accounts:

I’ve no interest in an apology, there was a time when that may have been enough to start resolving the situation, but that time is long gone.
I can understand that but many still see it as a stating point in resolving things. The time may have have gone but realistically I doubt there was ever at time when they would apologise or make any serious attempt at reconciliation. That's bad enough but it wouldn't be quite so bad if they were likely to sell up soon but I'm not holding my breath on that one either.

Not sure I saw any responses to this well made point Askew
The regime which Fish fronted and was well paid for, despite him saying he did it for nothing, did nothing to stop the decline of the club. The ground was falling to bits with the team tumbling down the leagues, and no investment in players at all over a substantial period.

Martin Fish didn't give Bunkers to Bradford. He was strong armed into it by Humberside Plod who said they would not police the game if they didn't. (Millwall soon backed down in a dispute with the police when a similar threat was made to them by the police). That would have had severe repercussions for City. In fact the idiot in charge said it was such a good idea as they could park the away coaches and escort fans to the stadium without them encountering home fans it should be made permanent. Wiser heads pointed out how ridiculous that would be for games where one coachful of away fans would be on an area of terracing which held 4,000.
