Or we could be 10 points clear of the relegation zone after a couple of games. Just don't know.

The lack of points we are getting is not Pochettino's fault. The performances have been better since we've sacked Adkins. We've been dominating possession and having many more shots basically every game. There is only so much he can do as a manager..he can't put the ball in the net for them.

Some people fail to understand this. If Lambert and Lallana hadn't both missed sitters yesterday, we'd be celebrating a 2-0 victory at a very hard ground to go to. Guarantee threads like this wouldn't exist then.

How did we not beat Everton? One of our most dominant performances.

I wish people would not keep on about how better off they 'think' we would be if Adkin's was still in charge . He's in the past and we will never know if we would better or worse off points wise.

What a pointless post...I wish my Dad was still alive.

All you need to do is invent a time machine, go back and change it.

Do be aware, though, that things might not turn out better with him in charge.

Look guys, lets move on.......MP is the future, he's infallible. and anybody who thinks the apppointment of MP could possibly lead to relegation is a f**king dinosaur.

Forget Nigel Atkins, he's in the past, achieved f**k all in the big picture of this football club. Any idiot who knows anything about football could see that he had to go. Like the team he got worse in every game he managed at this level.

Our illustrious and glorious leader thought there was no need to acknowledge the achievements of NA, make sure you do the same.
So move on guys and anybody who dares to post any NA rhetoric on here....you do it at your peril.

Two consecutive promotions is extremely impressive, and he wa actually improving as the season went on. He wasn't great at this level, but maybe he wasn't good/high profile enough to take us to the next level. He'll get another crack at the PL soon, as for MP: he is highly rated in Spain, is young, cracked it in a top league and is high profile.

Why?? because I disagree with the masses.

Thought the appointment of MP was a gamble at the time. I still do and am entitled to my opinion, even if I am in the minority (on here).
Stay up or god forbid relegation....I still stand by that opinion.

If every foreign owner/chairman copies NC recruitment process then the days of British managers trying to be successful in the PL are numbered. Its not like MP as any real credentials to manage at this level, which again imo makes it a strange appointment. I would like to emphasise I do not want to see it all end up going tits up but I am entitled, like the minority on here to have a different opinion.

Nope, because of the way you illustrated your disagreement.

Others have done so through a reasoned post highlight key issues, what resolutions there may be and the like.

You just replicated a kid with a lost dummy.

Erm, obviously it's a gamble, that's not exactly a minority opinion.

And yes, you're entitled to your opinion, just as others are entitled to disagree with your opinion. Why does everyone think that "I'm allowed my opinion" is synonymous with "you're not allowed to disagree with me"?

Nice to see you brought nationality into it though. Foreign owner/chairman and complaining because a British manager lost his job, as if nationality makes a difference. But no, almost four years managing in a league better than the Premier League is no kind of credential, compared to.. erm, five months. No credentials at all.

Your right DTLW has a right to opinion as well even though it had little foundation to why mine was wrong.

I thought seeing as your post had little foundation to it, I needed little foundation to call it pathetic.

The problem isn't about respect for Adkins, nor about his managerial capability, it's the seemingly endless, dreary as a wet day in Skegness posts about "oh how I wish he were here" or "oh we would have won it". We've debated the rights and wrongs of MPs appointment a billion times and yes, there are a number of differing opinions. Great. That's fine. Just EVERY time we don't pick up 3 points, can we PLEASE not have these genuinely, eyeball-achingly dreary "under Adkins" posts. There is no more pointless debate.
