Once again our "loyal supporters" are starting to behave like mags - ok they beat us at home (not the first time in my 51 years of support), but as usual everything else is forgotten!! Last weeks result against Liverpool was hailed as fantastic, we were going places. This week a crap team who were well outplayed scored a goal from a free kick - if it had been anyone but them it would have been just a bad day!! Could we for once rise above their mentality and wait until 38 games have been played to see who is the top North East team? I for one believe it will be us, lets be honest lad's they were rubbish. On that note just a little about the game, they are complaining about Larsson's handball - it was handled by Ameobi BEFORE it got to Barton's head. They have complained about our tackling, they rolled around clutching various parts of their anatomy to get the decisions - did they ever have any treatment for said injuries? I sit at the front and watched a lot of play-acting on Saturday & it wasn't by us! For heavens sake get a grip & trust Bruce, Niall & Ellis Short. FTM

If you are Fullwellend1970, to date that is only 41 years not 51..so if your maths is wrong so could the rest of you thread?

I trust SNQ ands Short, patience ran out for SB too many errors of judgement.

And we have lost every final home of the season since we went up, ( won 1 or 2 drawn 1 lost 9 of our last 11 home game, shocking) there will be another bad run this season but by January if we out of the cups again that must be it, and i wonder if Niall is already looking for a replacement.

Niall is no trigger happy chairman. He didn't even sack Keane when he dragged us rite through the clarts.
Can it be only a few short weeks ago Bruce was being hailed for his transfer dealings? Less than 10 days since we got a fantastic point from the home of Liverpool?
Only a few weeks ago even our major Bruce doubters were saying "give him till xmas". Well I've check and there ain't no trees up round here.
Funny what one free kick can do given the rite (or wrong) circumstances.

What is it Clough said? "A Chairman should walk before sacking the manager he brings in" or something along those lines. I prefer Quinn and Short to Bruce but I couldn't categorically say I trust them. I think they have made plenty of errors of judgement.

This is very true.

The people at the top are not beyond reproach, people have a dig at Bruce for talking himself into corners, what about Quinn's 'world class manager, world class signings' lines.

The board aren't spending money, they are re-investing profit brought in from selling 2 of our best assets.

That said, i think they are a wonderful owner & chairman, i am merely stating that not everything is down to Bruce.

The man knows we need a left mid and a striker, but he can't pay for them himself!
