If you are Fullwellend1970, to date that is only 41 years not 51..so if your maths is wrong so could the rest of you thread? I trust SNQ ands Short, patience ran out for SB too many errors of judgement.
Niall is no trigger happy chairman. He didn't even sack Keane when he dragged us rite through the clarts. Can it be only a few short weeks ago Bruce was being hailed for his transfer dealings? Less than 10 days since we got a fantastic point from the home of Liverpool? Only a few weeks ago even our major Bruce doubters were saying "give him till xmas". Well I've check and there ain't no trees up round here. Funny what one free kick can do given the rite (or wrong) circumstances.
What is it Clough said? "A Chairman should walk before sacking the manager he brings in" or something along those lines. I prefer Quinn and Short to Bruce but I couldn't categorically say I trust them. I think they have made plenty of errors of judgement.
This is very true. The people at the top are not beyond reproach, people have a dig at Bruce for talking himself into corners, what about Quinn's 'world class manager, world class signings' lines. The board aren't spending money, they are re-investing profit brought in from selling 2 of our best assets. That said, i think they are a wonderful owner & chairman, i am merely stating that not everything is down to Bruce. The man knows we need a left mid and a striker, but he can't pay for them himself!
