Still can't see what's so offensive about his post. Are you offended by it's reference to our former chairman & the reference of the Yanks as 'vermin'? Is that what's offensive? I wonder if Huw is actually now wishing he gone about things a little differently. Doesn't mean we've all got the same opinion of his tenure, though. It will vary vastly, even with the 'sad' 'big time losers' on here... Don't think anyone thinks they're particularly 'knowledgeable' of football, it's all opinions, we're all entitled to have them, even you!! It's just you seem to enjoy to 'try to' ridicule their opinions. So what if it appears everyone has a different one from you, maybe we're all right & you're not. God forbid aye!!! Your first line was simply class, the fact you needed to get it in early. "Right, that's him told!!!" Schoolboy stuff.... Oh sh1te, I've offended all schoolboys now...
So even though you don’t support the Swans and you describe this forum as “awful”, you choose to spend your time here slating off Swans supporters. That’s called trolling. What a sad person you are.
What case? You don't have one! Only in your deluded mind, you seriously need to grow up, but then it's probably far too late for you, you really do need to take a break from here, for your own self respect, sad to see you trolling like this.....
12th April 2008 Gillingham 1 Swansea 2 Promotion to the Championship was secured, with 2 goals by Bauza
Just came across this gibberish from the resident clown, who conveniently forgets all the drivel he has poured onto this forum down the years.. I have enough " self respect " to go around, but you wouldn't know what to do with it, were I to offer you any of it. Stick to posting insults and abuse to your betters, it's what you are good at. P.S. Holding different opinions to the one eyed empty headed individuals whose only skill is insulting those individuals who currently own, and those who previously saved, Swansea City FC, is NOT, REPEAT, NOT "trolling ". It's called DEMOCRACY. MY CASE STILL RESTS, and there's not enough between your ears to make me change that stance. Have a nice evening. I'm sure you'll spend most of it insulting someone or other. Invariably your betters.
On 25 April 1978 - 41 years ago yesterday - Harry Griffiths died suddenly. In many respects, Harry was ‘Mr Swansea City’ to us of a certain generation - much like Curt is now regarded. In fact, I think I’m correct that Harry was the Manager who gave Curt his league debut. Hearing of Harry’s death was/is like a JFK moment for me - I can remember it clearly as if it were yesterday. I was in my flat in Cathedral Road, Cardiff (I was a second year student at University College, Cardiff) when I heard it on the HTV news. I had had the pleasure of being introduced to Harry at the old BP Sports Club by my father less than a year before Harry’s sudden death. He even bought me a pint ! Tosh, of course, was Manager by that time (April 1978) - Harry had been demoted to Assistant Manager - and they played the same night that Harry died. We won and I think Curt scored twice and Robbie the other. We won promotion that season - it’s sad to think that Harry wasn’t there to enjoy something that he had been instrumental in achieving.
On this day in 2005, we beat Bury 1-0 to clinch promotion to League One. Adrian Forbes was the scorer and Willie Gueret was arrested. Free Willie !
On this day 40 years ago we beat Chesterfield 2-1 to secure promotion to Division 2 (The Championship) 22,838 people were there - including me!
I was in the back of the North Bank and finished the game covered in sweat from the crush and everyone bouncing around. I had to have a cheeky, underage, flagon of strongbow from a corner shop in Argyle Street after the game to recover
