It will in the media which can't be helped. The players need to insulate themselves from the distraction. The side felt pretty balanced against West ham but this will be a bigger test.
Can’t fault Slot. Salah gone from 15th anyway so will have to play without him for a month and half so best get team sorted. As much of a legend, he isn’t the long term solution, and the team need to be built around Isak Wirtz for the next 5 years.
What did Sir Bob Paisley used to say; let the player lose his legs on someone else's pitch. Unfortunately, we've not done that with Salah imo. I understand it though, he was brilliant last season.

Sunderland player goes slips in the box when blocking cross and immediately grabs his head knowing more likely to get the game stopped. FA need to do something about players trying to con refs in those situations. force players off for a 2 minutes concussion check if you go down holding head or something. Otherwise it’s such an easy way out of a dangerous situation.
