Aina came across really well for a young lad in his interview. Good luck to him. He's known about the loan move for 3 weeks? Why has it then taken 3 weeks to finalise? ****ing Enob!

I would have said exactly that about josh king.
All these young players the man u's Chelsea Arsenal Hoover up have the potential. Bit of a lottery who will make it. I'd give him a shot. If he's filled out a bit too.

I rated King when he was here. Always thought he looked dangerous. Sometimes I think a player having loads of pace can work against them cos people say it's all they've got. I remember a game against Southampton where he hit the bar twice with really well hit, powerful shots. His goal against Boro was a proper strike too.

Or Chelsea wernt sure they wanted to let him out on loan or myb holding out for a Prem club..... Or the lad was on holiday and didn't make his final decision until back in pre season, Seriously not everything is always at fault from our end, the obsession with ehab isn't good for your health

There's plenty of evidence that Ehab has fcked transfers up in the past. I'm not saying GLP is necessarily right on this occasion or that the delay couldn't be down to one of the factors you've mentioned, but the fact you're so bothered about the suggestion it could be Ehab troubles me. I just don't understand how any City fan can be so defensive of the bloke who is systematically killing our club just so he can have a little ego trip and tell his girlfriends he owns a football club. Of all the things to be annoyed about, you get upset that too many people criticise our owner. Even if he's wrong, GLP blaming Ehab based on reasonable evidence is a lot more healthy than blindly defending Ehab out of misplaced loyalty.

I'm not defending him, I'm just not blaming him this time for something we have no evidence either way, In this instance I'm say it was more a chance of the things I mentioned rather then ehab, but hey looking at it without any pre conceived ideas isn't the thing to do on these forums is it ;)

You're again showing a resent for people having an issue with Ehab. You're one of a few who are constantly 'not defending him but...'.

I have to say I did find it worrying how long it took to get even one Chelsea loanee over the line, bearing on mind the relationship Leonid has with Abramovich and that it was said they wanted 90% of the signings in place before the preseason. Sadly through our experience I have to agree with PLT there is one common denominator and we know who that is.

I completely agree it will be his fault for 99% of the stuff, but Chelsea and the Chelsea players will want the best loan possible which is a Prem team so they will leave it as long as possible to get that Prem loan, once they are satisfied a Prem loan isn't an option we became a viable option

We've signed some great players late on in the window, but facts like that don't follow the lemmings way of thinking on here ;)

Half our first team squad have left and as things stand currently, further outgoings seem far more likely than any incomings.

But don't worry everyone, Howden thinks it's not an issue.

Please show me where I have said its not an issue? I like everyone else would have loved to have seen more players in at this point, but I'm not getting wound up by something I have no control over and there is still a lot of time to go where deals can and will be done,

I've no doubt that now matter what business is done by dealing day it should and could have been better business
