It's ridiculous, they start developing for 2014 from mid 2013? And they are having problems like this, and when their cars are **** they blame the lack of preparation. Why can't we have a full grid with fully optimized cars, at this rate Mercedes might just walk it.
There will be a lot of nitpicking between the teams over rule interpretations before (and during) the first race.
I was probably being registered as a guest eventhough I've been trying to login for a while. I think something is up with the forum... as I get the three dots instead of images and was not able to login uptil now.
The manufacturers surely would have given the teams mock-ups of the engines so they could sort out the packaging when designing the cars. This is great, proper testing taking place to solve problems, rather than just pounding round for 650 laps a day.
I was looking forward to 2014 being a grid of mixup's and big results from small teams. And sadly it's looking like the same old... same old.
They haven't said anything because autosprint are the ones saying it's it was declared by the FIA as: 'considered sufficient', not the actual FIA themselves. I'll wait for their actual report on the matter by the FIA now that new evidence has been given on the danger of turbo's and all whcih obviously wasn't taken into account when they were doing their job. 'Considered' is also just based on opinion of what they consider is safe, Renault are bringing up video fact which goes against their opinion and prove Ferrari's engine will not be safe enough. Ferrari's best bet would be to provide an example of it working, rather than falling back on that age old excuse 'But Charlie said it's ok!' We have heard that plenty of times on other teams yet it doesn't mean anything if it can be proven to be dangerous in front of the FIA giving them no option but to change the rules.
It will always be the same to a point as teams with money will always do better, but it's too early to throw our the smaller teams just yet after 2 days of stagnated testing.

um ok, i can't help but notice there's alot of people viewing here but little being said. hmmmmm, come on now, after gods knows how many years of people accusing Red Bull of cheating and having an unfair advantage, just because teams couldn't figure out what they were doing, are we seriously just going to go straight there. Any significant engine advantage would set most of the grid order in stone for the year. I'm really not looking forward to this season now, as much as i want to see some different drivers at the front, i was really hoping it could be done without just nerfing the RB with rule changes and then ridiculing Vettel when he can't win any more. He's going to go mental.
What a **** up by Renault. They clearly aren't ready and are just at the test to save face. They've had three years to prepare for this.
The picture's not showing for me, I'll just assume it's a hamster in a wheel, since that would cover more miles than the Renault engines have managed.
