Problem is, spending £100m on 7 new players, you need them to gel pretty quickly and it doesn't help when you effectively lose your two forwards who got 50 goals between you and therefor not only have to replaced the goals, but find a new way of scoring with players of different qualities.
Just no movement. Thing with Allen is he gets the ball, looks forward and it' just stationary so he has to cut back and go square or backwards. People moan about Allen and he doesn't offer much, but it takes 2 to make a pas and unles you have decent movement and options infront of you, not too much you can do. Instead of passing it to someone who is going to lose it, he's sensible enough to just keep hold of the ball.
Watch it again, I don't think he knows the player is there, he is going for the ball and the player runs across him otherwise its red
Twice, Balotelli runs the wings and gets the ball and it creates 1 good chance and 1 cross. not difficult, run in behind defenders and it helps you stretch teams and not just play infront of them. Coutinho not offside either, bad decision from the lino.
