Fair points, however the question is, would you leave or delete it?
You either delete every single one, including religious ones, or you delete none. The parody of Mandy was posted with no political comment. The one about Jenrick stated he was a ****. Which was liked by one of those who approves of others posts of others being deleted and calls them whiners and moaners. Which begs the question, who decides what is and what is not acceptable under the personal abuse ruling.

Given the personal abuse we get on here and more so via PM's at times, I think we're quite experienced in the subject. <laugh>

Which suggests that it's the self moderation of some posters that is the issue, rather than just the board moderation.
Of course it is(self moderation).Sometimes I'll slip one in that I think is humorous, sometimes I'll slip one in as I see someone getting away with one that they really shouldn't have(something I disagree with politically) and I just think 'oh well fair game,I'll have my say too'.

Ultimately I know where it's going to lead...

Not sure? But I think you've spelled 'misspelled' the American way?:emoticon-0104-surpr
He has written it correctly. It is actually cited as one of the most misspelt words, funny enough.
Be good to have a conversation in the pub tomorrow where nothing is off limits. Except Xgs of course.

There's always one or two baiting or fishing, not quite sure what they get out of it. A feel good factor, point scoring, self promotion who knows?

If I post anything political it will be because I find it humorous, witty or informative. I'd like to think it would be just as likely to be from the red, blue, green, left, right, middle if fitting the above criteria.
I found the Fred West patio gag above mildly amusing so even though it could be seen as political I would let it be.

I like how you're ignoring any posts about self moderation.
