I know what you mean some twat tried to set my tent on fire last year (while my mate was inside), so I headbutted him and sent him on his way :D

Aye that happened to me 09, some little scouse **** tried to chuck a tent on our campfire and I twatted him round the head with a gazebo pole!
I was on the edge of blue by the shops as never normally had a problem camped there or far end of red in the other years before and everyone walking past cheered and someone even gave me a can when they saw the scouse lad peg it for his life with me shouting "**** OFF" behind him! <laugh>
It was worse because I was camped with wor lass and her lass mates (my mates only had day tickets that year), so I ended up staying up on the last night guarding our area after not having sleep the other nights and then having to drive home on no sleep - wasn't in the greatest moods once home!

Reading
hopefully I won't be one of those kids away from their parents for the first time :)

I've heard Reading is different, you still get some massive fires but none of the last night riots which are tradition of Leeds.
The reason Leeds is now on the outskirts of Leeds on the A64 at Bramham Park is because a few years ago at Temple Newsam the riots were that bad they nearly lost their license. It apparently was worst the first year of being at Bramham Park.

Depends where you camp at leeds, if you go in family section you wont have any bother, but if you stay in a more lively section (orange or red) there will be massive fires on the last night.

Reading's still full of absolute dickhead little kids though, I went 5 years in a row up until last year and it just seemed to get progressively worse. Wouldn't go back again, especially for the price it is now.

Ignition Festival is where it's at! <ok>

....unless of course my band isn't confirmed as a supporting act, then it's a waste of money ****ty festival for losers.

Never heard of it but googled it and it looks pretty sweet. Spain has some great festivals, Primavera being another one.

It's a pretty geeky one to be fair set in Barcelona! They have loads of parties that run through the day and night (including ones on the beach watching the sun come up) and then have a mini film festival, artists showcase and workshops where a few of the artists; both musicians and artists give tips, advice and do q&a sessions.
My mate has been when it's on, but didn't have tickets to any of the goings on and apparently Barcelona is buzzing even more than usual with loads of unofficial parties as well.
