Hopefully this is a storm in a teacup.

Club need to remember the kids of today are the fans of the future

By the way I am reet old and my kids are on their twenties. Last year I gave up a ticket as one of my daughters could not always guarantee attendance due to work. However I do feel if I was willing to fork out and attendance was low it is still acceptable because of work.

With the varied kick offs the club need to ge careful not to lose genuine fans with genuine excuses. I hope this is the case

Absolutely. People taking about profits and income whilst forgetting that the youth and kids of this generation will be the ones that back the club for the next few. Risky business.

No one is doing that ...

... the club have never been better with kids of the area, the women's team, the Academy, etc.

This 'business' is being properly run for the first time ever in my opinion.

With reference to this ticket information, I disagree. But aye, they have now added daytime so that should help most.

Still think it’s a bonkers rule anyway considering we’re nowhere near selling out.

I understand it stops people buying youth tickets to get themselves points for away games and playoffs etc but that feels like such a minor point. A season ticket used 30% of the time is better for the club than no season ticket

It appears to be in preparation for promotion to the PL in which case it would make total sense.

How bad would it be if people can't get into big matches while there are hundreds of empty seats all over the stadium.

The club has to do everything possible to maximise our income so we can progress as a club.

People keep asking for more spending ...

... this is part of the answer to that question.

Not minor to people who attend away games and playoffs etc

13/03 Update: Junior Season Tickets - 70% Attendance
1 hour ago Updated
On Thursday, the Club provided an additional update regarding junior season tickets for the 2025-26 season.

A significant number of these tickets have not been redeemed during the 2024-25 campaign, with an average of 32% of junior tickets not being used each matchday.

Next season, fans aged 14 and under must use or forward their ticket for at least 70% of daytime fixtures to guarantee access to future loyalty pricing.

Fans aged 14 and under that fail to attend at least 70% of daytime fixtures also risk having their season ticket cancelled.

In these instances, the ticketing team will contact the account holder directly to discuss the supporters’ circumstances and ensure a reasonable conclusion is reached.

These measure aims to reduce the number of unused seats and ensure all supporters, including season ticket holders, can access a wider range of seats on a game-by-game and seasonal basis.

Demand is continually increasing for match tickets and availability for supporters wishing to purchase multiple seats is now extremely limited, especially in the lower bowl.

We appreciate the feedback received from supporters throughout the last 24 hours and fans with additional questions are encouraged to get in touch with our ticketing team by submitting a request.

They we have it. A new update today. And there you go. The 70% is there with clear information.
Salient word being "daytime".

Salient word being "daytime".

This is obviously part of the planning for the PL imo which is surely good to see.

There are only 19 home games of which around 12 would be daytime.

If a junior SC isn't used for at least 6 home games a season you'd have to suspect it's a 'ghost ticket'.

As I've said I don't believe, for a minute, the club will be sending someone out to knock on people's doors ...

... but I doubt any genuine supporter wants people taking the piss and persistently getting in on the cheap or scooping up away tickets.

To move the away supporters we'd need an area, in the lower bowl, that can accommodate around 3/3500 fans plus an empty cordon on both sides. I've no idea of the spread of SCs around the lower bowl but it's probably part of the conundrum imo. In regards to away fans arriving/leaving the SOL the North Stand Lower would probably be the most practical ...

... I've no doubt there'd be more kicking and screaming if that was suggested by the club.

Renewed ours this morning (well changed the direct debit details) think it went through ok.

Going to wait till the deadline has passed and see if we can move seats

Edit the change to 6 installments has helped a lot and is a really good thing imo

Aye it’s not so much of a hit the increase spread over 6 payments

I guess I'd like to know how prevalent it actually is. If we are talking 10-20 people that do it, I'd let it slip. But if its in the hundreds I understand wanting to clamp down firmer on it.

Yes. This is what was added after the backlash with their first announcement and change to terms.

I am happy that they have been forced to add this.

Hardly a backlash, people just wanted clarification ...

... and the club haven't been forced to do anything, they were asked to clarify and they've done that.

Why does everything have to be a continuous war against the club?

It's not I am just being accurate.

It wasn't in their initial statement or terms. Fans have been very unhappy and raised concerns through multiple channels.

The club have now revised their approach.

End.

Just find it bizarre that since the club have now changed their stance people have now quoted it as if I was wrong to quesiton it the first time.

They have changed their stance. Since the first updates were posted.
