Under the new rules my son with have his season ticket cancelled already this season. In March.

How dare they.

I really can't believe that they've done this, which would mean that we could even have problems when booking holidays . . . . a lot will book holidays before fixtures are released, so it could be that holidays clash (as the will now) but they will have a bearing on the minimum attendance figures.

Unless there are some inaccuracies in what's been said, it can't possibly be fair :emoticon-0145-shake

A direct result of people buying junior st's and passing them on to adults when not used, or not upgrading when they do so. Blame the tight-fisted ****ers for abusing the system, not the club.
there is some one this thread explaining his son wil fall foul of this, where did you make that comment up from?

The 70% is in the terms and conditions of buying or renewing a season ticket.

What's a little uncertain is it it only applies to kids or both kids and adults.

It's absolutely nothing to do with that. This will not solve this whatsoever. That is people cheating the system. This is people who genuinely can not go.

People who were going the scam would actually have a higher than 70% attendance. Therefore this plan does absolutely nothing to address this, it might even encourage it !

Looks like they have pushed the disability level up to high rate now as well! Means my autistic son can’t have a Personal assistant with him unless they pay full price ticket

If there is an issue with adults getting in on kids tickets then it's the stewards on the turnstiles who should be enforcing that. This 70% thing will do nowt to reduce that.

Gadjee stands over me in the SEC when I scan the bairns tickets and then mine. Isn't there lights above each turnstile that flash a different colour based on tbe category of ticket?

There is. If they want to enforce it then pay Stewarts to do it at turnstiles. Not threaten young kids FFS

It would be pretty wild if a kid got their season ticket cancelled but then went to a school where the club had given out free tickets.

This is what the T&C's actually say:

Season Ticket holders must have their ticket used, (either through attendance or from a ticket being used following ticket transfer / forwarding) for at least 70% of fixtures to be entitled to future loyalty pricing and risk having their Season Ticket cancelled if persistently not attending games..

Basically, if you miss 7 games in a season you will not qualify for the loyalty prices the following season. Not great but a far cry from what people are posting on here.

Aye, I wonder how big an issue it is regarding adults using kids tickets. I assume the club have got some data on it and they could work out the cost/benefit of employing a few extra stewards to see if that would fix the issue. I don't think I've seen many adults ejected from the SoL.
Or, the numbers are in the 100's...

Has Steve Davison come back to weave his magic again? Crass stupidity.

This is the type of decision I would expect that whopper to make. Bruce has been class with hummel but this stinks of Americanisation and trying to max out profit. Needs to sort this **** out.

At last, thanks for sharing.
