It is. Even the most positive fan on here, surely sees this as a mis step.

Throw in a bit of sickness (which is inevitable for the young kids) and there would be a fair few at risk I'd have thought.

Saying that, with shift work and a fair few of our fans living out of the area it could catch a fair few adults out as well. It's not like we've got a waiting list for season tickets.

Whoppers going on like they are Forrest with waiting lists down the wear. Ground is half empty midweek anyway. Let's punish the kids.

They will laying the ground increase we get promoted and they can hopefully boot young kids into touch for a higher paying adult. No other explanation. Pathetic corporate ****ers

70% just seems too high to me, especially when we don’t sell out anyways. Doesn’t just impact kids, will be longer travel for some supporters or people like my grandad who don’t attend midweek games (which I’d imagine would be enough for a potential cancellation). Don’t see what they get from it personally.

Price increase as expected, will still renew and seems cheap enough with the potential of prem football

I have a great seat in PC, but the stupid kick off times are annoying, but they have to bend over for Sky

They need to clarify the wording. I think it's just kids tickets but who knows

Mines up to £580, can’t complain compared to other clubs prices tbh.

Yeah the 70% is a bit high for me. If we were guaranteed 70% of our home fixtures were Saturday 3pm kick offs i'd understand, but how many of them have we actually had this season? 50% should be the mark.

Just re reading the 70% thing and it does seem like it's just kids tickets they are targeting which is very odd. Would also assume if the parent is poorly and can't attend then the kid wouldn't go on their own if they are very young. But the kid would get their ticket cancelled and not the parent.

When is the 70% being calculated from does anyone know? Surely it's far into the season because if you miss one of the first 2 home games then you are under 70%?

Same here, though softened by spreading over 6 payments (skunks are over 12 so still room for improvement). The price you pay for some of the best seats... it may even have the benefit of discouraging the early leavers from renewing <cheers>

Not aimed at you Wayne lad :emoticon-0148-yes:

No detail yet but it will be from game 1 I assume. That's the only way to equalise the terms and conditions.

You know what, unless they roll back on this, they can **** off. Mine is getting binned. Not having this demand over my son, literally forcing him to attend no matter what, watching a percentage meter.

Ah cheers for that. Even ****ter to target the kids when they’re the most unlikely to attend night games which has a good chance of being 30% of the fixtures without any personal unforeseen circumstances that prevent people going. Don’t see what they’re trying to achieve with this.

Just read that Leeds do something similar but you can sell your ticket back to the club for individual matches so they can resell it. Helps that they sell out pretty much every week mind.

Brentford rings a bell, but I think it’s because they sell out every game so losing out on demand. Could be wrong there.

    That's fine.

If we sell out so demand is there or, we have a proper fan exchange where people can list their ticket for 0.01p if they wanted too. At the moment if my son can not go, who on earth am I meant to offer it too? I offer it round all the time, to upgrade to an adult and get no takers. We have 15k empty seats at midweek games!

Arsenal is 20 out of the 23 home games but its across all the season ticket bands, not specifically kids.

Mind you, it's £50 just to join their waiting list for a season ticket. Quite a bit different to us. <laugh>
