All terms and conditions are empty threats then.

Next time you go to a pub are you gonna shout at the barman "are you threatening to kick me out?" just because it says on the wall they reserve the right not to serve customers?

It just looks like the perfect opportunity to attack the club from people who never hesitate to attack the club.

No one is 'threatening children' ffs.

We may well be at Wembley in May.

Is it fair that people who buy SCs, with little real intention of attending, are guaranteed a ticket ...

... when people who can only afford to buy day tickets for each home miss out?

There are some people who buy child SCs simply for that reason.

Personally I'll never be in this situation as its unlikely I'll ever be in a position to be a season ticket holder. But if I were, and I had a kid and was genuinely concerned about this new T&C, I'd be emailing that Chris Waters fella to get his advice. I'm pretty confident its a clause that would never be applied for genuine fans. But I do get the concern. I just don't think its worth getting stressed or worked up about without finding out more information on if and how they plan on implementing it.

I'm impressed that they can turn back time. I'm 74 and been on a senior card since I became 65 but according to my renewal I am on an adult ticket. Went on SAFC.Com to get ticket office email only to see that there is no longer a ticket office email. Will have to hope I can get through on the phone tomorrow. Mind you it would be good if they could make me become younger.

Spot on Smug <ok>

As I live in Fife, Scotland, my SC is only used for half of our home games.

I've absolutely no concerns that it would be cancelled if I don't show up.

It's just a T&Cs clause in case of anyone seriously stepping out of line ...

... but some will grab the chance to attack the club and repeat it endlessly.

You can submit an enquiry on this form....

Just select 'ticketing enquiry'

There is a **** load of backlash over this, I reckon the club will put out a statement or comment/ roll back on it.

Silly wording and very silly implications. It's no fans fault. They didn't put out the wording or include the 70% number. The fact that so many fans are kicking off, shows it's a poor choice (if they have no plans to implement it)

Boom. Well spotted Smug lad.

Has the full match by match ticket price been released yet, trying to talk the missus into renewing even though she doesn’t particular like the night matches and is asking about match by match. We are in the east stand so price is up to 620

Don't think so pal but a good few games have been at 32-35 a ticket this year. I would probably work of that

If you are paying through direct debit for your season ticket do you still have to subscribe in your account to automatically renew because my email says you don’t have to do anything.

Do nowt mate. If you log into your account you'll see it checked and probably greyed out. At the bottom it will say season subscriber. It will auto renew and you have to do nothing.

In fact if you try to add them to your basket again, it will say you're trying for too many tickets.

Don't think you have to do anything. That's what my emails say so im just going to leave them to renew , but it's 6 DDs instead of 4 for next season.

I'm not sure if the 70% attendance is related to the season ticket cancellation. As mentioned, the actual wording is "fans must now use or forward their ticket for at least 70% of fixtures to be entitled to future loyalty pricing" followed by "and risk having their Season Ticket cancelled if persistently not attending games.". I feel like it is a bit unclear but I read that as related but ultimately separate bits.

In regards to the reasoning behind the change, I am aware of several individuals who have bought at least one child season ticket next to them to give them more space. Those tickets are never used at all are a bit of a piss take.

Not sure if it's separate bits. Reading the full terms 14.2 R is what you have stated. If it was separate surely they would have just added another line as 14.2 S (if seen as escalation)

You're quite right mate, it's obviously two different scenarios.

70% could never be construed as 'persistent'.

Just my tuppence worth. I doubt that the club is going to piss off their "customers" by saying that if you don't go to 70% of games we'll take your season ticket off you, especially if some of those tickets belong to kids - who could be long term season tickets holders going on 20, 30, 40 years. Maybe the wording may not be the best and open to different interpretations but can't see people behind the scenes at the club going out of their way to alienate fans especially as Bruce seems to be going about running the club the right way
