What gives this handful of tossers the right to speak on behalf of the entire support,

"“The last six weeks have seen Sunderland fans lose pride in our club as poor decisions from the hierarchy have led to negative headlines,” writes Paddy Hollis."

And, if they're 'reporting' on the club they should avoid ludicrous exaggerations,

"Boos and chants of ‘Beale Out’ are emanating from huge swathes of supporters who don’t want the former Rangers boss at Sunderland, and four defeats in seven games is adding fuel to that fire."

Grown men ffs <doh>

Everyone has the right to a voice and while I don't agree with everything in the article, pride in simple things isn't there at present.

Good to see standards rising:

I do.

Do you agree with the two points I made earlier?
I agree we need to be mindful that a handful of people - tossers or not, as you don't know them all - don't represent the whole support. I doubt anyone can, so I can't argue against your point.

And I definitely agree any comments should be balanced.

Do you feel standards off the pitch have improved, as after the meeting they hadn't tidied up the BCB and that post on SAFC.COM hasn't been proof read and we have a top MLS marketer in role now?

Anyone who claims to speak for me and the Sunderland support, without any election, is a tosser in my opinion. I've honestly no idea how people, sitting in their back bedrooms, can have such a lofty opinion of themselves tbh.

I think the away allocation/BCB/Bubble trip situation was made much worse by the hysterical over reaction of a minority of people ... once again speaking for the entire support.

There's been progress, off the field, some seen and some unseen but more is needed. The club is obviously aware and, I've no doubt, want to sell more merchandise and more tickets. Announcements today seem to confirm that.

Lastly do you believe 'huge swathes of the crowd were booing Beale and singing 'sacked in the morning'.'

No. I was there and it was an element of the South Stand (a very vocal one, as you can hardly hear them most of the time where I sit towards the North West corner of the Premier concourse) so that’s the usual (I’m wanting to be a journalist hear is some spin bollocks ) but I do believe the message about pride not being there is valid. I feel they’re just not there from a standards perspective.

What they're saying is that the supporters have no pride in the club ...

... not that the club aren't proud of their operations.

No one I know, which is quite a few, have lost pride in their club.

I'm hoping that, once previous contracts with suppliers and perhaps employees are exhausted, we can make real progress. The club have a huge support, and much goodwill, so I'm sure they're keen to flog as many tickets and as much gear as possible. And, as an optimist hope that KLD, who is a football man, really wants the club to be a sustainable, successful and supporter friendly.

The comment I picked up on is because the club doesn’t have pride in itself. We have to hope they can turn it round and start to act like a top sports operation to increase revenue and customer/fan satisfaction. Hopefully we see action on the actions RAWA and the BLC and others at the meeting held them accountable on. ITHICS and we really shouldn’t be as poor as we are given we’ve had a couple of years since the chancers were in charge to have a situation where people phone 30 clubs and they all pick up the phone bar Sunderland.

I won't call anyone a liar, without good cause, so I'll believe that.

However, as you may have noticed, I help a lot of people with tickets and rarely have any problem with communications. I've even been able to resolve issues on Saturday matchdays, for daft people, when they've gone to Plymouth or Bristol and left their tickets on the mantelpiece <laugh>

I'd love to be able to spend my days at the club advising them, I'm sure many of us would ...

... it's so unnecessary to make basic errors that rightly wind people up so much.

Give me a 12 month FTC and I’d be all over it like a rash.

If there's any jobs going at the club, I would want the one where you meet the players at the bottom of the stairs. Must be a dream job for a fan

It is until they walk past, with their earphones on, and make you look a twat for offering your hand <laugh>
