In my opinion it is a stupid decision to host any rugby matches during the season at the SOL. Looking at the other stadia selected we are an anomaly I think the organisers will have their fingers crossed they can sell enough tickets for any match at the Sol. I am not convinced they will.

Hopefully the pitch will hold up ok.

This is what pisses me off! We all know the match at Sheff Wed has been moved to the Friday night,...we were told days ago....so why is it,when you go on to the club website,that fixture is still shown as being on the Saturday at 3pm? :emoticon-0130-devil
 
Every pie I've ever had on the concourse was a ****ing disaster! It was piping hot,crumbled as soon as you touched it, ended up in your lap in bits,all over the place,burnt mouth. Needed a bib! <laugh> No thanks!

What you have described here is a key part of the match day experience.

I have suffered many balti related injuries over the years and each scar is a memory.

Having first worked with Destination Sport’s fan travel division Sportsbreaks.com as part of the Club’s pre-season tour to the United States, Sunderland AFC has agreed a wider agreement with Destination Sport Travel and inspiresport.

As the UK’s leading travel management solution for elite sports organisations, Destination Sport Travel will support the Club’s travel and accommodation requirements across its men’s, women’s, and academy teams.

It's sister business, inspiresport, will also provide opportunities for schools and grassroots clubs to experience official SAFC development tours, including training sessions at the Academy of Light led by club coaches.

SAFC’s Head of Football Operations, Samuel Ash, commented: “Destination Sport have a proven track record in delivering industry-leading travel solutions for elite sporting organisations, and they have an outstanding portfolio of partners. Dear RAWA member

We're pleased to announce a Q&A event with Kyril Louis-Dreyfus, Kristjaan Speakman, Steve Davison and David Bruce at the Stadium of Light at 6pm on 25th October, hosted by Frankie Francis.

RAWA members will hear from the major decision makers at SAFC about on and off the field matters and put questions to them.

You must be a member of RAWA to register for this event. Please use the email address you use for your membership. Each member may register for a maximum of two tickets (you can bring a non-member if you like but do urge them to join!).

The event will take place in The Montgomery Suite where a bar will be open. Doors open 6pm for a 6.30pm start and we expect to finish by 9pm.

Whilst we're on, we were contacted by a RAWA member about an amazing effort being undertaken by a major Lads fan in aid of Prostate Cancer. 66 years old Norman Mosley is walking all the way from South Shields to his home in Spain! I was just going to post this, it's interesting that David Bruce will be there, unless I have missed it, I haven't seen any big announcement of his appointment
