I went on the United board when we were linked, and the majority were very surprised he was being allowed to leave, said that his versatility was a massive asset, and that he'd be a cracking signing for anyone outside the top 6.

Well then, maybe my United fan friends really are ******ed

That's bollocks.

O'Shea played 30-odd games last year and is an excellent signing for a mid table club.

A player is not automatically past it just cos United sell, Fergie said himself in an ideal world he'd have kept O'Shea, but let him go as he felt he was still worthy of being a first choice in the Premier League.

Were Beckham & Van Nistelrooy past it? I seem to remember them doing pretty well after United. WHat about Forlan, i seem to recall him being one of the most prolific strikers in Europe, Rossi? £35million rated now.

I know they are younger, but my point is United DO let good players leave SAF is desperately trying to close the gap on Barca, there had to be changes.

I reserve judgement on Brown, as i fear your right on him, but Obertan is a ****ing awful player, how can a professional footballer just run the ball out of play so often?

He's ****.

Slight contradiction. Obertan hasn't played that often, and at the age of 22, who is to say he won't become a very good player? Its not what we need so I am not impressed with the signing but I am willing to give him a chance.

I'm sure there are United fans who don't and never did rate O'Shea, but he played 300-odd games, won 7 or 8 titles, and 2 Champions League's, he was hardly a passenger.

No doubt he's faded a bit, but i think he'd get in most teams in the league, and i think he'll be a good un for us.

I would have liked O'Shea and Brown maybe 4-5 seasons ago. Not now. They're too old, too well paid and SAF wouldn't have sold them if he thought they were worth keeping.

Bad signings for me

Now there's a ****ing surprise. Trolley-Dolly doesnt rate one or two of our signings. I am gutted of course? Duh!

Why anyone on here even contemplates discussing anything with this window licking rent boy is beyond me.

He is quite simply, a jealous, mincing ****wit of the highest order.

So a kid who was sold by Man U and then sold on again wouldn't qualify for the definition of a "Never was" would he not? Your wrestling Ninja skills aren't up to much are they.

You should change you name to "Can't construct an argument and keeps putting his foot in it".

I would sooner he bent down so I could put my ****ing foot in it.

I'm not lying. "****ing O'Shea", "why is that ****er playing" etc. etc.

Considering O'Shea was one of their better defenders last season that's a lie.

He & Brown were sold to Sunderland due to the soon to be defense of Smalling and Jones. It's not SAF selling because he knows they're past it (Although I suspect Brown is), it's down to them being replaced by younger, hungrier players. It wont be long before Ferdinand will be on his way out and another defender being brought in or being brought through the academy.

Just stop biting at them with such a terrible argument, if they want to talk about our potential signing then let them, it's what both of our boards do these days.

Stop talking sense. I was having fun with this fishy.

Well then. That's me told
