I thought Lars Mikkelson was absolutely awesome. There is no reason as to why the next bad guy can't be as good/

Mikkelsen was always going to be class, he was brilliant in The Killing and this villain was perfectly suited to him.

Even though I did think he deserved at least another episode (watch him be revived at the end of series 4), the way Sherlock offed him was class. "MERRY CHRISTMAS!"

**** - what if it means the jump theory where Moriarty and Sherlock kiss is true?

This is what I meant earlier.

The whole romance thing is obviously stupid and would ruin everything, but they could want each other to survive. They both loved 'the game'.

Well, there was this 'fake' scene that Moffat filmed where Moriarty (in Sherlock's jacket) and Mycroft leave, presumably, St Barts (though it could be anywhere to be honest).

Maybe it wasn't fake.

?!?!?!

Have you seen this? Link?!

Moriaty's ringtone is staying alive

Moffat said "Ah, clever. I wish we'd thought of that" in the Q+A on twitter after tonight's showing when a fan asked him if there was a connection.

Well in that case, my hope is Sherlock did it to give himself a reason to come back, so Mycroft wouldn't ship him to Eastern Europe

one issue with Sherlock is that if you albeit cleverly and smartly bring someone back from the dead, then naturally every aspect of the programme treads a line of probability and improbability. it leaves you second guessing everything.

Steven Moffat writes it, no matter what you are second guessing constantly.

And then you have to go back to the source, Doyle.

Blame Doyle then. ;)

Luckily, they're on iplayer.

Yay, I've caught up with the four I missed. <ok>

It was interesting seeing this one after watching the remake. The Tunnel was similar stories in a different setting, but with similar characters. It was interesting to see the differences and similarities in the two versions with the emotionless police woman character.

I'll have to get series one of the Bridge from somewhere now.
