it was alright besides the fact that they screwed up almost all the tube lines/stations references. Can't believe they didn't do their homework.
 
I think it was always going to be hard for them to follow that last series. They'd set the bar very high.

I'm struggling a bit with them over-cooking Sherlock's lack of social skills. It seems to conflict with the observational deductions he uses.
 
Superbly crafted . A cut above anything else on tv.

That episode was class, Mikkelsen was a brilliant villain and I wasn't expecting him to leave like that...

Also, how many twists can you put in a single episode?

And that ending - that is probably a better cliffhanger than Sherlock's survival last series...
 
It's certainly very well-constructed and cleverly written.

Not as good as 'The Bridge' though.

The Bridge? Is that the one rewritten several times, including the recent version called The Tunnel? If so, yes, excellent.
