I like this forum, however because of my employers a certain government department the language on the site stops me viewing/posting when at work.
 
I post more on here than I did on BBC. I think it might be that I joined this sooner than I did the BBC and therefore feel more... welcome?

I like the soft hand policing, but cant do (dont want to either!) the picture thing, the emblem thing, etc.

Seriously though I can't put my finger on it. BBC606 just seemed more fun looking back.
We all hated the Mods but at the same time knew exactly where we stood. You could WUM within reason on another teams board which I confess I used to enjoy. Here though it's just not worth it. Each team have there own rules so you never really know where you stand unless you stay on your own teams board.
Like I said on the OP, I do like this site just seems to be something missing.

I have a mail box that takes 500 messages and its always full and this is typical of a message from someone I was asked to ban from the Chelsea board, he was already banned from the Arsenal board. It will explain why I dont need rep to insult me.

not after any praise mate, just sometimes I get a bit pissed off and its good to have a shoulder to cry on, on a downer today so will log off soon and let them fight it out.
 
I prefered the old site there seems to be too many mags on here, and also too much language which i must admit to using my self at times. I am sure once the season kicks in there will be more to debate.
One of the things that really annoy me is how soon people judge as soon as things go wrong.
I am a Brucie man and think he will get it right but the anti-bruce brigade will be out as soon as he slips up.
 
I do like not606 however the whole "rep" and "tags" fiasco is just another way to massage ego's(see the mags page) and give/receive personal abuse(from certain mags and the feebleminded) - I can do without either - why can't you opt out and not be part of this embellishment?

The strength of BBC 606 was that it had none of these bells and whistles and not606 would be better if it did not have these either, imo.

I agree with is, I've no idea what this rep thing is, if I've got any or how to give it to someone and I have no interest in knowing, it actually makes me cringe when I'm on the mags board and they are all repping each other.
To the original question, I love this board but still prefer the old BBC 606. Reasons - as I've stated before, it's not clever or big to swear on an Internet forum and there is too much hostility on here which wouldn't be allowed on BBC 606.
