Christian with 248 id say ud make it comfortably. the main indicator i look for to do a 1 stop is pit in/out time, how hard it is to overtake and the difference between compounds, for me melbourne, has a pit in/out time of 16s (not much) vs the time diff between the soft and the medium compounds (which i calculated to be 1 second in testing with same setups). on the other hand its not so hot so the the difference between the soft and medium compounds could be 0.5 seconds a lap so mediums could be the best when it hits its optimal temp and therefore lasting longer and gaining time. it could work either way but for me, because of the pit in/out time is 16 seconds it will kinda cancel out the time differences in compounds especially with the longer pitstops (refueling more fuel). i think how good ur driver is in qualifying plays a part as if ur doing a 1 stopper with heavy load for q2 plus ur driver not as good qualifier then it may put u in last place with a heavy fuel load not being able to keep anyone behind u. good luck christian hope u do well u gotta beat 9th. good luck guys oops i just read that ur using hards which will definately slow u down, its the reason u qualified last, see if u had worked out that mediums could make it a 1 stopper then for sure it could be possible but because its hard tyres i think the soft 2 stopper would have been the optimal choice.
@Ben The Track is hard to overtake on and I do not want to get stuck behind other cars as in last race. The hard tyre is only 1s slower than the soft tyre per lap and .5 seconds slower than the medium per lap, I tried it in practice. In/out is 16.5 + the pit time ~25, about 40 seconds per stop. Medium wont last One stop, I need 2.2 sets of medium for one stop. So comparing my full race pace compared to a 2 stopper soft strategy I will only be about 18 seconds slower in the full race. That is about 0.3 seconds per lap slower. I think that makes for a pretty decent strategy. Also in my last race where I finished in 9th, that was ONLY because of my strategy. All 8 cars ahead of me was A LOT faster. And there was a lot of people who was faster behind me as well. So in order to be able to improve my finishing position, I have to try something radical. This was the best I could figure out. I'm extremely curious on how it will work out! We will find out soon Good luck everyone! No it always starts at 7pm GMT, doesn't it?
lol im an idiot, howd i forget we had daylight savings yesterday. lol im an idiot, its ok ppls im just goin crazy lol
GMT = Greenwich Mean Time = UK time = CET-1h(Central European Time, Which is also the GPRO Server Time(ST)). So 7pm GMT= 8pm GMT+1 It starts at 7pm GMT for everyone. Digg it
lol christian u gettin smart with me, like the other day my dishwasher stopped working.......i yelled at her lol
lol sorry I quoted the wrong post.. removed it now. It was to clear the general confusion OMG OMG Can't live without the dishwasher! Imagine the old days when they did have to walk far to fetch a bucket of water and used the same for both body hygiene and dishes and probably other things as well
