with 248 id say ud make it comfortably. the main indicator i look for to do a 1 stop is pit in/out time, how hard it is to overtake and the difference between compounds, for me melbourne, has a pit in/out time of 16s (not much) vs the time diff between the soft and the medium compounds (which i calculated to be 1 second in testing with same setups). on the other hand its not so hot so the the difference between the soft and medium compounds could be 0.5 seconds a lap so mediums could be the best when it hits its optimal temp and therefore lasting longer and gaining time. it could work either way but for me, because of the pit in/out time is 16 seconds it will kinda cancel out the time differences in compounds especially with the longer pitstops (refueling more fuel). i think how good ur driver is in qualifying plays a part as if ur doing a 1 stopper with heavy load for q2 plus ur driver not as good qualifier then it may put u in last place with a heavy fuel load not being able to keep anyone behind u. good luck christian hope u do well u gotta beat 9th. good luck guys
oops i just read that ur using hards which will definately slow u down, its the reason u qualified last, see if u had worked out that mediums could make it a 1 stopper then for sure it could be possible but because its hard tyres i think the soft 2 stopper would have been the optimal choice.
