Saying that when I reply to a post why does it sometimes have the post 'm replying to in a nice little blue box and other times it's all brackets and serial numbers ?

I've had a few sherbets and can't work it out ???

I fully appreciate I'm having a conversation with myself , which is both sad a a trifle worrying, but the last half dozen posts I've posted have been all brackets and serial numbers but the last one on here wasn't. I don't suppose it matters but it's winding me up as I 'm doing exactly the same thing when I reply.

I don't like the app as much as the layout when you you just log on to the site normally and get the layout the same as it is on here.

Mate your quotes are working fine, in fact you seem to be able to have quotes within quotes (I pointed this out yesterday) which the rest of us can't.

If you are getting brackets and serial numbers, it usually means there is a minor problem in the code (such as a bracket missing or something) which means the code makes no sense to your browser, and it just posts all that code rather than the quote box. It's all academic anyway because your quotes look fine to us.

Cheers for that . I am a self confessed remedial when it comes to anything to do with computers .
I had to get her indoors to show me how to do my little picture near my user name.

I've got the Hull City forum saved in my favourites on the laptop, so it feels like a massive hassle when I go onto the app and have to mess around finding the right forum, other than that it's great for when you're out of the house.
