It's pretty obvious I'm not the Allams biggest fan right now, but I agree, some cost cutting was totally necessary. The last thing anyone wants is to be back in the financial mess before the Allams saved the club (yes, I fully accept that without them we would probably not be here now).

I just don't get how they can do all this penny pinching, a lot of which isn't even known by most, and alot of which caused issues to the squad , renage on contract improvements to our best young players and yet come out in the papers saying they were willing to spend millions in wages and transfer fee's, and we are lead to believe by them that NB/AP didn't want to bring anyone in - and then sack Nick for non footballing reasons.

Now let's just forget that what they are saying isn't true (that's a whole other debate), it just doesn't stack up to be so tight on some very important things, yet suggest such vast amounts of money was made available.

I have felt for a long time, that the Allams just chucked their toys out when it became clear to them that they would'nt get the K.C. ! Iv'e seen nothing to change my mind.

I know we've had all these arguments already but I agree with this still, also probably the young Allam is a bit of a twat and thats why Nickys gone, saying that it's time to stop bickering and get behind Mad Mick or whoever they've got lined up to come in.

I'm with you, it's up to the Allams to change our minds or not.. I suspect more "on the cheap" to follow..

Probably been said before today but Swanny tweeted that Clark would love the job but had not been contacted. I later heard that it probably would not be this week that we heard anything. I am beginning to wonder if it is just that they are finding it very hard getting anyone, OK lots of people might have been interested but when they get down to the nitty gritty do they want to take the job.

think we have told him to fook off after delaying it so long based on wigans going on ... **** him .. Lee clark for me

Care to explain why?

Well firstly I don't know the full details of all of the redundancies that have gone on in recent months so there may have been some that were totally necessary and if that's the case then fair enough, but I'm pretty sure there have been plenty that are completely unecessary. It's not like we've been employing 3 times as many people as others clubs. If they could make Ghilas et al redundant that'd be great, but if it's a cheap, back-office worker who's doing a good job and probably quite a necessary one then I would totally object.

I seem to remember talking to staff at the club when Barrtlett was still in charge and there where redundancies then. The lottery is now online, the Internet sales are up and we will have a reduction in turnstile operators, less staff and managers needed, not a good thing but....only 15% increase on my pass/card.

With jobs at the bottom half of the premier league available I could see Bruce going more for those than coming to us. Hopeful it'll be McCarthy but think Lee Clark is our best realistic option now.

News that Villa want Paul Lambert from Norwich as their next manager......that would leave a vacancy at Carrow Road for Bruce to go after.

Think of it - it makes perfect sense. Delia's pies + the Dinner Lady.

Makes sense, he made his name there and rather than Wigan explains why he seems to have been dragging his feet.

There's a chance we're going to find out who it is tomorrow...

Considering that it's not Bruce and we haven't spoken to Clark, it looks like it will be Davies.
For some reason, oddschecker is now only showing odds from Skybet and Davies is 9/1 with them, the other bookies had him at 20/1 yesterday.

Hmmm, I'm tempted to lump on Davies now. Other than someone who has never been mentioned I really cant see it being anyone else.

the moose from talksport has tweeted that bruce will be named the next hull manager

He's since said the Norwich situation mkight change that. I refuse to believe whatsoever that he is privvy to details of who Norwich are interviewing when the manager hasnt even officially gone yet so basically he hasnt got a clue and is putting 2 and 2 together. If you tweet as much as he does and throw names in a scattergun manner you're bound to be right eventually.

A name that hasn't been mentioned much is Roy Keane - I hope it isn't him as he was poor at Ipswich - but he would keep the Manure connection
