Does WhoScored award rating points for clearances off the line, with which they are credited with two? How else would Preston get a rating of 6.88 to our 6.56?
"But defensively we played very well, our counter press was top class, we nailed them in the final third and more or less gave nothing away." David Wagner. Really? We "nailed them in the final third"? It looked to me as if they nailed themselves in their own defensive third.
I can't answer your question but, Whoscored had PNE with a higher rating throughout the game. I take their ratings with a little grain of salt. (I thought they did give the player points for that. It doesn't show it when you move the time curser, though.)
Two months ago this was a game we would have lost. I’m not completely sold on Wagner and this turnaround, but it’s clear there is significant improvement mentally. Is it enough for us to reach the playoffs? Not sure
I am back in England on holiday for the first time since Dec 2018/Jan2019 and I thought earlier on in the day, oh Norwich are playing. Totally forgot about it and then it reached 5 and I though, oh Norwich play today oh wait they will have played and then checked the result. 13th and 3 points of 6th, the Championship is as mad as ever!
I'm only guessing, but I think clearances off the line and last man tackles get half a point like assists, thus Lindsay's 8.4 MotM rating. Those goal line clearances saved the draw for them and as their defence had more to do all game, they racked up more points. Had one of their 3 goal line clearances failed, it would have been a very different outcome.

Why come back from your summer to our ( UK residents, I'm currently sitting on my verandah at 29°) miserable winter.
So congratulations are in order to you and the missus. I'm amazed you currently manage to post as regularly as you do ........
Thanks, he's 6 months almost, he actually sleeps unlike his brother. I enjoy talking about Norwich, getting other people's views and the like it is quite nice to do something different. Especially nice if we are doing well
