Preston playing incredibly deep, very hard to break down and defending our long balls well

I can see why Wagner keeps picking Hernandez because of his pace & work rate but very rarely an end product.
He's desperate to score at home so took the shot but both strikers were available & he fluffed his shot.

They certainly are Suffolk. I'm at the match. Not surprised they're playing that way. They've lost their last 3, conceding 8 goals. We're being patient but perhaps need a bit more urgency going forward when the opportunities come.

Preston players falling to the ground so easily, particularly Potts

Yeah not sure why, they (crowd) sounded fantastic all game to be fair. The team pushed, can’t always find the answer. Gibbs should have scored, he looks gutted

Good stream eventually. Thought we might lose the game at the end, but no magic up front. I think most fans fear the trip to Portman Road next weekend. Should ITFC get promoted, they will find it hard to remain in the EPL

Thanks, SC. I don't don't understand it either. We played pretty well even if PNE did let us have the ball.

A positive of having McLean at CB has been the opening it has created for Núñez. As a result we are beginning to see the player we've all wanted to believe is there. He has slotted in well beside Sara, and appears comfortable in the role. He just needs to be restrained from taking so many long distance, low value, pot shots, and encouraged to recycle the ball instead when no opening presents itself.

Frustrating as that was, we've now taken 10 points from our last 5 games, which is quite a turnaround.

To be fair Sara has been guilty of this a lot this season in games where we have had less of the ball. Also the crosses into the box and passing to feet wasn’t coming off for us either
