You calling him decent says it allRubbish that Chazz he was decent for us and even better when he came back from Sunderland. That said, I thought sir les mutrie and Andy Peyton were better.

For a bricklayers labour who couldn't trap a back of cement when turned down by Goole Town and Brid Town he didn't do bad for himself as a professional footballer, thanks to Hull City giving him a break. He scored over 70 goals in his career and played in the First Division ( Premier League) for Newcastle Utd who paid over £200k for him.Billy was never a good striker
Average at best and a bit of a joke

Bet no-one has ever said he was never a good striker, average at best and a bit of a joke to his face.
How many other 'joke' strikers can you name who scored over 70 professional goals? The Newcastle fans did which is why he was bombed out by them

In his prime Billy Whitehurst would be the first name on most clubs team sheet.
When he first came he was awful, but was loved straight away because he ran his heart out, and chased lost causes, unlike many at the time.Too young to have seen big bad Billy but he is a fabled hero from what my dad would tell me. One of the goats.
That could easily be a description of KJ, and personally I love what he brings to the team. When he first came he was awful, but was loved straight away because he ran his heart out, and chased lost causes, unlike many at the time.
Lmao being a Norwich fan I want whatever drugs you are onNorwich City 3-1 Hull City
What’s gone on with Sargent? He’s usually deadly against us.Lmao being a Norwich fan I want whatever drugs you are on
Nine different league clubs and a few abroad disagree with you and me.Don’t be ****ing ridiculous

You said most clubs!!Nine different league clubs and a few abroad disagree with you and me.
Looking at the latest scores I think Liverpool would take him now( obviously tongue in cheek comment). You said most clubs!!
Man U Liverpool ??
I seem to remember him scoring against Liverpool in the FA cup game at Boothferry Park. That was a classic Liverpool team who had barely conceded any goals that season. Big Billy terrorised the living **** out of the likes of Alan Hansen and possibly headed the goal in with his face. I think Keith Edwards got the other goal and we all would have been ecstatic for the game to have finished at half time as we were unexpectedly winning 2:1. Great times, great player.Billy was never a good striker
