We need to be looking for the next Parker and not worry if we stay in the Championship for a couple of seasons. Young hungry players like Austin who want to come and play for us and put in a massive shift every week are the type we need to build a side that will not need much changing when we do go back up.

Well said

Perhaps HR should start telling the press QPR are close to signing Rooney and Bale - all hell would break loose.

We are a championship club Fulham is a Prem club simple as that. If we would still be playing in the prem Fulham would have no chance but if and if and if and would and would and would.......

Hmm yes. It's not as if we have a better quality training facilities and larger capacity stadium. I suppose money talks though.

Next season we will have better training facilities and in the near future, we will have a far bigger stadium.

Of course that wont mean a lot to has beens with no future.

No one wants to come

Time to get behind what we have then

You wanted new players then you wanted them all gone

Now you want new players

No one wants to come

See a pattern forming yet?

Apart from Austin, Simpson, Dunne, Henry, and O'neill you're right, no-one wanted to come.

We will have to re build and do it the rangers way ... This team has a job to do and we still own Adel Remy and Granero and if we get back Parker won't be good enough for us

Fulham could still drop IMO

What comes around goes around

Outside the top six or seven teams all teams are battling to avoid the drop - some just get clear quicker than others. So, yeah, Fulham might go down but they've pretty much been doing the same thing since they arrived in the PL, surviving.

Rather Granero stayed away. Adel and Remy I'd like to see playing for Rangers again, though.

Spot on my new friend, you are most definately welcome on this board <ok>

Love the thinking !...exactly why we failed last time

I think that you will find that the draw of Premiership football outweighs that of Championship football, but if you want to pretend it is an anti Harry Redknapp thing because YOU don't like him, then that is your prerogative.

Agreed.

He hasnt got a good reputation with young players, he "doesnt do tactics" and has his favourites who will play no matter what.

See next game when Zamora starts over Hitchcock.

So in your view Flyer, Hitchcock should be thrusted into the next game as strike partner to Austin?
Then he doesn't score and you'll be saying Harry has ruined him by rushing him to first team football too quickly.
The lad has a bright future, as will Skapetis, but slowly slowly does it and he will gain confidence.

Might I also add Macheda scored on his Man United debut which effectively won them the league that year....do I need to go on?

Like Richard Dunne/Gary O'Neil?

O Neill was our best player when he came on, both of them are only signed for a year so their player in 2 or 3 years doesnt bother me unlike Parker who is already rubbish after his latest injury.

Have fun with him for 3 years.

We should never be in the position where we have to chuck someone in but thats preferable to having Zamora hobbling around offering zero to the team.

Give him a couple of games until the window closes and hopefully we will have 2 more forwards.
