I think everyone should just accept that we are probably not going to sign anyone. The squad we have could do with strengthening yes, but we are now a Championship club and the players Redknapp has not been able to secure are ones that can and want to play Prem football. (So don't know why he is chasing them in vain in the first place) After the fiasco of last season, coupled with our Champ status, is it a wonder that Parker chose Fulham over us? It's a no brainer really. We already have centre mid filled so who cares??! Just a half decent striker needed and thats all the business we need to do in my opinion
I can't for one second believe that no more players are coming to QPR. I have said too much about Harold and need to shove a cork in it .... that's better Have to trust and get behind the club now. I will however pose this ... Doesn't anyone also think that the Premiership is fast becoming overrated? . I saw a post (apologies can't find it off hand) but maybe we need to find ourselves again and we are currently playing well so lets enjoy it while we can because if we go up then the mess of buying a team will start over again
It's all been said earlier on in this thread. The likes of Hooper and Parker are good enough to play in the Premier league so why should they take the drop down? It's definitely not Harry, but the league in which his team plays. We should be setting our sites on quality Championship players to get back to where Premier league players will come to us.
I hope Cavern Cottage gets attacked by Leadpencil the giant catfish I want to see all the Ruperts to perish as the beast thrashes their bare arses with its tentacles before dragging the entire club into the muddy depths of old Father Thames
Why don't YOU? NO, you're a ponce. That attitude about says it all about you, dunnit? Shut it you ponce
Just interested to know, because a player wasn't in good form (last season) for a very good team, does that make him a 'rubbish' player? So Dunne and O'Neil only get to be crap for you for a season? Bargain there mate.
A medical doesnt cover lost his legs syndrome as we found out when we got Park. Enjoy him for 3 years. It will be hilarious when you are paying him 60/70k a week when hes 35.
Confirmed today he turned down a higher wage from yourselves to sign for us, so hardly 60/70K p/w. We have something in place at FFC, maybe you've never heard of it, it's called 'salary cap'. Fruitless discussion though, half of your squad has suffered from a serious injury in the past yet you're supporting them? I bet when AJ scored a goal on the opening day, your fans didn't think 'He's so over the hill because of those injuries he got in the past'.
We got players like Sinclair because other, higher placed clubs weren't willing to take a chance on lower league players. Young players with ambition who are placed lower down the league structure would be more than willing to join us and bust a gut without costing the Earth in wages. Possibly risky but no more so than players willing to drop a division on high wages. The only exception is if they're youngsters surplus to requirements at top 6 teams because those clubs buy the finished article in the majority of cases.
Just reacquainting with some old friends, Andy lad. I've not talked to some in months. They don't seem unduly buoyant at my return though. Why is everyone in such a shi*ty humour these days?
