We want to appoint a head coach not a manager. <doh>

Unless we're appointing someone with real chops to be the Director of Football, I don't like the sound of that.. sounds like Ehab picking transfer targets, in direct contrast to how his Dad ran things.
Yeah i did wonder about that too! Hopefully thats not the case!

just a thought but what if the gave the job to frank de boer and gave him 50million to spend how would you feel about bruce going....personally would still be gutted

I'm happy about Bruce going and the double bonus is its got anyone left on the fence firmly in the Allam out camp, loads seem to be cancelling passes, the pressure is really piling on the Allams to get out now. 2 birds one stone hopefully.

Using statistics to prove who is best manager is pointless. All statistics and be manipulated or read, for example
95% of people with XXX cancer will be cured and 100,000 people a year will get it - sounds good odds
Or
5000 people will die of XXX cancer this year (almost 100) per week - sound horific

In football a range of stuff will influence results, strength of other teams in league, form of those teams when they play, injuries ect etc. ......

Does Martinez set his teams up well - yes
Does he have premiership experience - yes
Has he built teams on relatively low budget - yes
Does he have good connections at other top clubs - yes

More importantly, would any other manager with his credentials be willing to come in to our club in its current state?

Is he a worse manager than Bruce? - yes.

I honestly don`t know how any would take this job under these circumstances, from what we`ve heard, 13 fit players, season less then three weeks away, no funds, and even if we bring in players it`s Ehab`s choice of which players to bring in, oh and we could still be sold according to Ehab after the transfer window closes !!!... utter utter madness, if anyone does take over under these circumstances, I think it says it all about the individual and their state of desperation.

Roberto Mancini is on the verge of quitting Inter. i said the new boss would either have to be desperate or working abroad...

It isn`t a case of who we or even the Allams want, it`s about who is daft enough to take it under the circumstances and conditions being suggested.
