Not much more to be said, most of it already been raked over.

This will the 3rd summer out of the last 4 when we are scrabbling around without a manager while the playboy without a roadmap who 'runs' the club congratulates himself on saving summer wages.

Looks like once again, we will be lagging behind at the start, trying to play like a new manager wants us to and without the players he would choose in his team. That means almost certainly struggle and poor results.

He does badly: he gets the sack. He does well: he asks for backing, and doesn't get it.. It's a lose-lose for all parties.

We are becoming a managers graveyard, where they get the sack for falling out with the owners.

To Pearson, Barrmby, Bruce, Silva add the name of Adkins. None of them left the club due to poor results. Is there another professional club in the country that is run in such a chaotic and short-sighted away?

Hope we appoint someone good and soon. But we did that with the 5 managers mentioned above and it always ends the same way.

See you at the KCOM next game. It's what real supporters do.

OK I accept that.
But I respect the opinion of someone who still does the hard miles and supports the team/club/shirt/badge on a Saturday afternoon then someone who has chosen not too.
We've has some right **** over the years following/supporting this club and if we had all took the option of not supporting through the turnstiles on a Saturday afternoon we wouldn't have a club to support today.
That's what I think and believe and I will leave it at that.
So thanks for the insults.
They are wasted on me.

Good post.

Ignore the silly ****s and outraged blowhards on here.

Word must have got out a long time ago, within football manager circles, that HCAFC is a basket case. Not even the most desperate of experienced managers would be tempted to have Hull City on his CV. Therefore, the job would suit a newbie, who is just starting out on the management lark, as no one would expect him to achieve much, though the experience of trying to work with dickhead owners would be a good one.

Morning after. Reading various SM posts from all and sundry about Nige. Sat here thinking, how the **** can the Allams be so ****ing stupid to have let him go? Answer, coz they don't give a **** about whats best for 'our' club, only whats best for themselves. Yet again I feel compelled to say they are utter ****s.

Because the longer they are in control they can spite every single Hull City fan by not putting a single penny into the club

That’s a daft thing to say. The issue isn’t the Allams putting their money into the club, it’s there already - though one might dispute the true level of debt still owed to Allamhouse, I certainly wouldn’t want to see that debt grow. I want the club to be run on a stable footing with a falling debt level and I’d be shocked if anyone thought differently.

The real issue here, and so often, is whether the Allams run the club competently, nurture the assets it has (which includes its supporter base) and invest wisely to grow the business. In their muddled brinkmanship with Adkins (where let’s face it, the ex manager held most of the high cards) they have again shown themselves to be penny pinching, ignorant and incapable of seeing how they can grow the club and reduce their debt more quickly.

You mean the debt that never comes down?

Even with the Premiership payments and the selling of the likes Maguire, Clucas & Robertson etc etc etc.

You say that but NA now has City on his CV and I don't believe it will do him any harm. He can rightfully claim to have done a good job in desperate circumstances.

Exactly, they don’t want the debt to come down as that is how they earn millions each year in interest. Easy money for doing nothing. Hull City to Assem Allan is only a way to make money, he’s never supported City & has no interest in football
He employs his clueless son to run the business for him & has no intention of ever selling the club whilst he can continue to earn money from it

Your last paragraph makes absolutely no sense.

In my eyes to be a City supporter you have to in the ground supporting the team. Posting negative ****e on the internet isn't supporting. Do you honestly think that every previous owner of this club have been a died in the wool fully paid up member of the OSC ? You support through thick and thin. Sometimes it's not easy sometimes other people do not understand the meaning of supporter.
Thankfully I still know people who do.

You heard it here ladies and gentlemen:

Those of you that are expats? **** off, you aren't real supporters.

Those of you that have moved for many various reasons to improve your life? **** off, you aren't real supporters.

Those of you that have any health issues that affect you going to games? **** off, you aren't real supporters.

Those of you in any financial trouble or who can't afford the ever increasing cost of football? **** off you aren't real supporters.

Those of you who are critical of your club in any way, regardless of the situation? **** off, you aren't real supporters.

But those who gatekeep who can and cannot be a supporter, they're the real fans. Definitely not arrogant entitled ****s who don't like contrasting opinions at all.

As a total aside to the point being made in Quill's post, its style reminded me of the “**** you/Pay Me” bit from Goodfellas.

Maybe just the way I’m reading it.

Anyway, I’m off to get the papers, get the papers...

The debt has come down. From £80 plus million to £50 million. Servicing the debt at 4% pa will cost around £2 million a year. That may be possible with no parachute monies but will be tight. If we get relegated it will be impossible because of the loss of the TV monies.

The Allams mis-management of Hull City isn't part of any grand plan to get revenge its simply down to incompetence.
