Cannot argue with that.
It's a dogs dinner from start to finish.
I know an offer was on the table and had been for a long time.
Obviously not one that Adkins wanted to sign.
So we move on
I too wish him and Crosby well. We had some good times under them and some very average ones.
We could have gone down and we could have gone up, but we stopped where we were.
Which in the history of Hull City isn't so bad.
...

Don't forget the two improved offers, the new contract was on the table for a bit before the Allams made it better not once but twice. Maybe he should have waited a bit longer before throwing in the towel.

Phil.
Having read your posts,I can see your point of view.but the fans attending matches will decline until they leave.will each fan leaving cease to be a fan. Point is when new owners come in,will they come back. I will.i remember enthusiastically applauding david lloyd. He looked back at us like we were a bunch of idiots.if the new owners insult the fans I'll walk again. You choose to stay, and as Chaz says i have to respect your commitment

Is there a right or wrong? The owner is devise. The fans are not. There's lots of fans, but too few supporters.
None of us are happy with this, but, until someone changes it, this is our lot in life.
Don't talk to them. Work against them. Nothing less.

I went to 44 league matches last season but had to step down from being a City fan for a couple of Saturdays. Harsh but fair.

Nigel owes us for giving him a leg up back into management when no other club would touch him with a barge pole. Just like Steve Bruce at the time.
Post on Sheffield United's site about Nigel Adkins, then stand back and wait for the abuse.
Likewise Bruce on Sunderland's or Villa's site.
I'd admire Adkins more if he'd have walked at the final whistle of the final game instead of waiting for another offer before walking.

Wow. I reiterate he owes us **** all. You or anyone else won't change my mind. I do believe you are in the minority with how you see it though.

Nobody would touch Bruce with a barge pole ? What. Bruce like Phelan, like Silva, like Slutsky like Nige owed this club nothing at all. Most of them got shat on one way or another by terrible twins. Some were not prepared to start another season with City and others were just plain shat on by stupid management and cheapskate decision making. ****ing hells bells who can blame anyone for ****ing doing one from Hull City. And owing us too. Do me a ****ing favour and look at the history of our managers. Is it all their fault ? Qatar you are exactly right with your post.

I think I have an opinion of which as a passholder I am entitled too. You don't even attend games.
I have never held myself up to be the number one all time fan, I am just a fan of Hull City, my local club and I have been all my life. You might have even sang along with the 'City til I die' song in the pub. In my case I mean it. I know several more deserving cases who I would seriously call a super fan, none of whom post on here.
So not a superfan at all, just a supporter who supports through thick and thin.
As for paranoia ? Why does the thoughts of someone who supports the local club upset you so much, even though you cannot bring yourself to support the team yourself? Is that not bordering on paranoid ?

so basically you're someone who'll submit to being bullied and crapped on week after week, month after month, year after year, without taking a stand, and make out it's a virtue.

congratulations.

at the end of the day, dumb and dumber gave him a contract - for whatever reason he didn't sign it - they would have given him a drop dead date - ie 7 June - 'if you don't sign, the offer of a contract extension will be withdrawn' - he didn't sign so everyone moves on - they weren't prepared to wait any longer, he wasn't prepared to sign on the terms offered - it must have been a significant change otherwise he would still be here - move on

Morning after. Reading various SM posts from all and sundry about Nige. Sat here thinking, how the **** can the Allams be so ****ing stupid to have let him go? Answer, coz they don't give a **** about whats best for 'our' club, only whats best for themselves. Yet again I feel compelled to say they are utter ****s.
