If he knew he was leaving why didn't he leave after the last game of the season ?
If he didn't fancy the offer that was on the table he could have walked weeks ago.
Why do you think he's waited so long ?

Why should he quit straight away? He has a contract of employment. He, like everybody else with a contract of employment, is entitled to seek out other opportunities whilst still under contract.

He waited because that was the best option for him.

That’s the tipping point for me. F’kin fuming. After what Nigel did (under incredibly difficult circumstances it has to said) yet they are prepared to sit back and wave him goodbye is,quite frankly..unforgivable in my book.

I’ve hung on in hope things might change but sometime you gotta make a stand. So..sadly that’s my last season pass now until these clowns have gone and that’s coming from a fan who’s been a pass holder since 1971.

Sad day all round.

Sad indeed

I'm gutted.
And so the ****storm goes on.
Allams, I despise you. Just **** off.
I can understand some wanting to stick with it whatever. But surely there comes a time. I'd love to see a near total home boycott, with everyone cancelling their memberships. Bring national shame and embarrassment to the twats.

Gutted. What a complete set of tossers the Allams are. Best run club, my arse. They seem hell bent on ruining our club more and more on daily basis, at least they are consistent. Consistently ****e. It’s obvious their only plan is to rape the club of any assets they can get their grubby mits on, and fulfill their commitment to league fixtures with a team of U23s, waifs and strays, however, Nigel has more ambition & professionalism than that.

Anyone with an ounce of sense can see Adkins was like a gold asset to the club in terms of relations with their customers and media, holding what’s left of it together. Professionalism shone through to the very end, so committed and hard working. Hope Nigel gets treat with the respect he deserves wherever he goes. Big thank you from me for all that he did for us.

Adkins was what?
He was the worst appointment ever not so long back.

Disappointed he’s left. Fair enough he stood up like Steve Bruce did
ehabs a **** and reduced his wages we all expect or conditions.

It’s a **** decision by the allams and not their first one.
For the clubs sake let’s hope they appoint another good manager. Who they won’t be able to keep...

Burnsy...

Word from within @hullcity on Nigel Adkins departure is the deal fell down on "other contractual terms".

Nothing related to salary or budget, that was all agreed according to club source.

I can’t believe I’m reading this. I was among Adkins’ detractors when he first came in and I wasn’t convinced at the start, but he won me over.

I really do wish him the best of luck.
