According to the BBC (Burnsey, I would think) NA was prepared to take a serious pay cut to stay, but other factors have persuaded him to leave.
I can only assume this is linked to the lack of squad investment and maybe even Andy Crosby's position. With no light at the end of the tunnel, 2019/2020 may sadly be a very long season, but I guess you already knew that. Over and out.

I know it wont happen but id love to see Liam Rosenior take the job. I think he's got a bright future in the game as a manager.

The new manager will have to be someone prepared to do it for the love of Hull and/or football and/or their career. By the sound of it the salary will be low and they will have a rag tag squad of players at the start or end of their careers, and no more ambition than finishing 21st. Maybe Rosie would be prepared to do it for his first step in management - Silva and Adkins both improved their reputation here, and even Phelan did too at the start.

HULL CITY CAN CONFIRM THAT HEAD COACH NIGEL ADKINS WILL LEAVE THE CLUB WHEN HIS CURRENT CONTRACT EXPIRES AT THE END OF THIS MONTH AFTER TURNING DOWN THE OFFER OF A NEW DEAL.
Assistant Head Coach Andy Crosby will also be leaving the KCOM Stadium.
In a statement, Nigel said: “I’d like to thank all the staff and players, and in particular Andy Crosby, my assistant, for the hard work, camaraderie, togetherness and support they have shown me and wish them all good luck with their future careers. The unity the supporters have shown with the staff and players has also been very special. The fantastic relationship I have had with the fans makes leaving extremely difficult. I will take with me very special memories from the past 18 months.”
The Club would like to place on record its thanks for all of the hard work and dedication Nigel and Andy have shown since joining in December 2017, steering the side to Championship safety in the first few months and then a 13th-place finish last season. We wish them both well for the future.
The search for Nigel’s successor is already underway.

Where did you get that info from ? He was having talks with the owners up until yesterday and nobody else has said
he got 2 improved offers , in fact you said he has had the offer since March.
