You’ve turned into the grammar police because you can’t answer a simple question and back up your statement.

Not knowing the budget and resources of every other team in the same division during Taylor’s 2 promotions I cannot accurately place City in a list. Neither can you.

So in which case you should have ignored my comment that city were one of the big hitters in leagues 2 and 1. However you didn’t, and told me there was other teams above city. Now your not sure without seeing facts and figures, I don’t think you need to be Jessica fletcher to work out we were

The biggest spenders in the division didn’t go up the season Taylor got our first promotion so that immediately undermines any claims he only did it because of the money available and that anyone could have achieved the same.

Have you put your gran forward for the Watford job?
Are you upset? I didn't mean to upset you. If you're really interested in my Gran, I'll tell you a little bit about her.

Way before my time, she used to go with my Dad.
She used to carry a couple bricks in her bag so she could stand on them, so she could see the game.

She died about fifty years ago. She loved Hull City and she was a bit of a nutter.

Fifty years ago? She must have been relatively young, bless her. I am nearly 15 years older than you and my gran on my mum’s side only passed away 30 years ago and my gran on my dad's side 31 years ago.
Love that vision of her carrying a couple of bricks in her bag. Imagine trying to get those through the turnstiles nowadays. Not that you need to, at least to stand on, in the modern, all seater stadia.

"in the modern, all seater stadia""

No comma needed there but all-seater is better hyphenated.

Thanks.

You're quite right. She died about 40 years ago, bless her. My Dad said she loved every game she saw, even when they were clearly awful games.
