Henriksen commenting Adkins departure in a Norwegian newspaper
https://www.tv2.no/sport/10658583/?...UMmnewG7Vl9ZJ9hLsxNouMfieJdCp4Ewfmk2x_IdHvPLQ

Basically.

"It's really sad. He's a very good manager and also a gentleman that I liked alot. I talked with him a bit yesterday and gave him my point of view of it. The other players think it's really sad as well"

"I know that he's tried to make it work for many, many months. Considering nothing happened, we understood how things would go. It's sad cause they've done a really good job within the club during the last 18 months.

Regarding what it means for his future

"I don't think that much about the future. Now it's important with a good game against the Faroe Islands and 3 points, then we'll see what happens."

Utter ****e.

Any terrorist can access the stadium 24/7

FACT

The fact that it hasn't been blown up is not because of the effectiveness of the gate, but because the stadium is not a ****ing target.

I suspect any consultant/advisor will have a vested interest in keeping the status quo as they are probably linked to the original crazy decision to build the bastard, and are attempting to cover their collective arses.

And all to be decided by the brain- dead mouth breathing Councillor Cox and Evans types who make up our council.

Kids now are impervious!!?
The most sensitive weak easily offended generation we’ve ever had, I think not.

Sorry, you're right. I mean, I only work in a school with...you know...kids in it. Hundreds of kids. It's not like I have to be clued in to what the younger generation are like for my job or anything, I just start by opening a maths book and busk it from there.

I can tell you now, they are in no way weak or easily offended. The generation above mine, the baby boomers, they're quite delicate. But not the current kids. No.

Doesn't appear to be a target for supporters either these days.

After giving a lot of thought to this supporters qualified to give an opinion lark I have come up with a solution, we need a computer geek to set up a database so we can all enter our details. How long have you supported Hull City, how many games have you been to, how much pocket money did you throw into the collection bucket to pay the players that was in the 70's so if you weren't born then you will be at a serious disadvantage. Of course you will need to enter the total amount of pocket money you got each week so the proportion donated can be calculated. Going to games when you have no job but loads of money is easier than going to games when your only income is the dole money so you will also need to input all your work time and earnings. Also going to games when your young and single is much easier than when you are married with kids so all marital and dependant status will be required not forgetting any divorce settlement and maintenance costs. As you can see this is a very complicated thing we are going to do here but the end result will be worth it. Once we have found the best supporter he or she can be the one to have the opinion for everyone. It will make the fans meetings with the Allams much easier too as only that one person need attend.

It's a bit long winded I know and I am sure there will need to be more data included (feel free to make suggestions) but this is important.

So, you've just proved my point.

First of all don't tell me what I think, you don't know what I think and I never said you were stupid for having an opinion that wasn't the same as mine. That method of psychology is tiresome and can be found on page 1 of 'poor me' 101.

I fully understand what you are saying, but for the reasons you've stated, people are well within their rights to boycott. Younger fans didn't have to go through Fish, Needler et al, so how can you expect them to follow the lead of those that did? How could they possibly relate? It isn't up to you to tell people whether they are supporters or not, everybody supports the club in different ways. I still go, but I do so for different reasons than others.

It doesn't offend the easily offended, that's another cop out line that needs to be chucked out. You're looking at the generation that grew up watching South Park, Jackass, Dirty Sanchez and The Thick of It, while playing the likes of Grand Theft Auto, Conker's Bad Fur Day and Turok the Dinosaur Hunter. If anything, the younger you get, the less 'offended' you get by things. Kids now are almost impervious to violence and other stuff. Saying that stuff offends people is a misnomer. If they're pulling people up on stuff, it's because it isn't ****ing acceptable. It wasn't acceptable in the 70s to do to gays, women and black people what some did, the difference is these days people don't just accept it as a social norm out of fear of becoming a pariah.

That's not my opinion, by the way. That's just the way it is.

.
Turok the Dinosaur Hunter ? means nothing to me. I didn't know we had that type 'generation' posting on here ? I mistakenly thought this was a site for Hull City supporters ?
The generation of fans brought up on video games ( if that's what they are) are also the fans who were also brought up on Hull City as a Premier league club, and FA Cup Finalists, league cup semi finalists, million pound footballers playing for us, etc, etc. My generation hung onto the memories of a FA Cup 6th round replay with Chelsea and the Third Division Title in 65/66.
Perhaps our definition of a supporter is different.
I don't look for reasons not to support the club. If I had of done I'd have chucked it donkeys years ago.
The offended I refer to are on here, being offended by a remark I made that I consider the opinions of those who actually still attend games over those who don't.
It had nothing to do with gays, women, or black people.

[QUOTE="Billy Big Bollocks -

'Boycotting for what ever reason just makes us look like a small time outfit with a fickle fan base and perhaps we are, as I said sometimes the truth hurts'.

Were the thousands of Liverpool fans that walked out during a game against Sunderland (i think) a couple of seasons ago, considered 'small time' and 'fickle'?

Their protest was against ticket prices I believe.
They were back the following week.
