Haha! Pearson's interview was hilarious!!! He's going to be in trouble for that one!

He basically said the refs can't do their jobs properly and need to be made accountable for their mistakes. He was anything but subtle about it though.

He also had a bash at the interviewer saying they (the media) try to catch managers out in interviews by making them speak right after the game and trying to get a heated response out of them... which Nige didn't seem to realise is exactly what he was doing at the time.

Interestingly his opposite number seemed to agree that it wasn't a penalty but for me the player's gone through the man to take the ball.

Didnt see his interview but was a pen for me. Beagrie even highlighted an earlier challenge the same player did on Sharpe. He got a free kick that time too.

Though he did have apoint about the handball tho. But fuk him, the money will keep him warm.

Clumsy by Whitbread, he definitely went through the man, i'd have been more surprised if they hadn't given it.

The difference between Steve Bruce and Nigel Pearson is there for all to see - Brucie was critical in his post match about the linesman that gave the handball against Jay Simpson who was 70 yards away and the ref only 20 yards and said they had made a mistake. That was as critical as it got for him. Compare that to that miserable twat Pearson - I cringe when he does his post match stuff and thank God he's not managing us but that East Midlands outfit.
