Sharp got scythed down and as an end product of that there's a slight touch on the ball with the defender's studs, not even enough for the ball tochange direction... For me it's a stonewall pen even if a City player does it and I know it's different elsewhere in the world but in every other country that would have been given as a penalty surely?
I thought it was a definite penalty , not too bothered about Pearson although it's quite funny and I think he's feeling the pressure of the job , he tries to come across as calm and collected usually ie a boring bastard
It's funny you mention pressure because I get the sense that there isn't any pressure in our entire camp at the moment. We keep having a go at teams and although there was no result today things are going really well considering the players we've been missing... Tieing it back into the thread, do you think the lack of pressure at the club could have anything to do with how well Bruce handles his interviews?
it was exactly the same scissor tackle that could have finished tom cairney's career at donny earlier this season it could have ended sharpe's season. who in their right mind could argue agen it. he was lucky to stay on the pitch!!!!
I didnt see the interview or the game but it sounds like he'll still be looking for his dummy. Although If he did say referees need to be made more accountable then I agree with him on that one.
