I agree I don't think it was about results, especially with all the injuries we have... defiantly more to it....
Results would have played a part for sure (2 wins from 7), performances as well, not been great (even before the injuries), and how outspoken he's been of the board. Imagine if all those things happened from management in your company, what would you do? I know football isn't quite the same, but some on here seem blind to some of the hard facts here.
I said a few months ago, I think Nige has engineered his own exit. He wasn't given money, a small squad and no new contract, what were his options, speak out and force their hand, or stick with a potentially sinking ship and his credibility as a manager takes a huge hit if we were potentially to be relegated. It seems he may have chosen the former option....
