I reckon it will be 2 or 3 on free transfers. Matt Targett and another 2 possibly 3 we sign for cash.

New GK seems to have been made a priority by the media. by selling Woodman and Darlow we might get about £7-10m. Some decent free transfers available.

Clark will be gone but nobody will be stupid enough to part with cash for him, going to guess Fed probably a goner too and again no fee involved. Think we will keep Dummet around for Home grown quota in case we hit euro conference next year.

Will guess Manq as he can play on the left, will stay and they'll cash in on Kraft despite his recent improvement. £5m at the very most there.

Will guess Shelvey will be kept, Willock will be kept, Joelinton, Bruno and both longstaff's will be kept (again for home grown quota) but could see them both loaned out. Hendrick will be a goner. Can see both White and Anderson loaned to championship clubs.

Murphy I reckon they'll accept offers for and Miggy they will accept offers for. £15m max there for them 2.

Gayle has to be Drop kicked out the club and a revamp of the striker options. I could see us considering offers for Wilson (He's just perma injured)
Weren’t we interested in the Lazio keeper? He’s on a free

Top 10 and a good cup run. As long as there is progress, I will be happy. I don't expect miracles.

Totally agree. I would be happy with a place in Europe. Yep Instanbul would be the place on the 10th June 2023 after UEFA have decided we should be allocated a spot in the Champions League Final for being the best team on the planet.

<cheers>

Is this some kind of pop up Rodeo event?

Not really. As above we have 17 players you could sell and wouldn't really be messing much with core of what has been good the last few months. We have a high volume of players not really good enough. I just don't think we can shift them all.

Dummett, Lascelles, Fernandez, Manquillo, Krafth, Lewis, Shelvey, Hayden, Hendrick, Murphy, Almiron, Gayle, Longstaff, Longstaff, Darlow, Ritchie, Clark

There is only really Lascelles, Krafth, Shelvey, Murphy and Almiron playing much of a part. Shifting 12 ****hawks is easier said than done.

Time will provide a solution there. In the next 12 months quite a few on your 'to shift' list will see their contracts run out. I'd personally like to see the club either loan them out for a small fee or to get wages covered or just cancel the contracts and pay them up all together.

I’d like to set a new target for next season after our last two games…well last 3 actually. I’d like us to be absolutely ****ing battering teams 3 and 4 nil week in week out. Not sure I can cope with our nail biting single goal margin victories we are being served up of late. As satisfying as they are when they are over, and despite the dressing room panoramic landscape massive group selfie which we now appear to have come accustomed to we need to kick on now like, sign Mbappe and Haaland and get games well and truly put to bed before half time!!!!

I agree with this, and you just take each position and rate what you have.

GK: Dubs, Darlow, Gillespie. The latter two aren't good enough, Dubs should be backup.
RB: Trippier, Krafth, Manq. Probably ok here with Krafth's improvement. Sell Manq if there's a willing bidder (the common theme will be trying to find these)
LB: Targett, Dummett. Targett is good enough, not a priority and we may just keep this as is to prioritise other areas, see how it's going in Jan. £15m for Targett seems a good deal.
CB: Burn, Schar, Lascelles, Fede. Clark is done, Fede looks done, the other three are backup options really so I still think we need two first choice CB's.
DM: Bruno, Shelvey. We'll probably stick here, I don't think Shelvey will be sold.
CM: Willock, Joelinton, Longstaff. Need a bit more in here for sure.
LW: ASM. Clearly need an upgrade.
RW: Fraser, Murphy, Almiron. I think all three are weak. I actually like Almiron the best, but terminal last third brain farts make him a trier, at best. Murphy's just bad, Fraser showed a few signs but regressed before getting injured (again, as usual).
CF: Wilson, Wood, Gayle. Poorest area on the pitch. You either have Mr. Glass or a choice between two of the worst forwards I've ever seen at the club. Need to spend really considerably here on a first choice and get some kind of backup youngster from somewhere.

So we need, just to progress, a new GK, to sort the LB issue, another CB, another CM, another wide player and a striker. Then we will still be in need of another CB and a young striker.

Pope, Targett, Bremer, Paqueta, Doku, Nunes.

Please.

I'd definitely consider keeping targett a priority. He's PL proven, and he's slotted in well and will be the best left back I've seen here since the Shearer era. Even better than Enrique since he wont take 3 years to get good.

If we can get him for £10-15m that's a good bit of business. He should be the main LB option we pursue, as we wont get a better LB that's so well adjusted to our side.

My target would be 8th. With the amount of money we'll spend and our current form, I'd say it's a fair target.

We literally could finish 9th this season.

I'd be happy with anywhere in the top half after these last few years of dross. A couple of half decent signings, hopefully a good fit striker and we'll be up for it next season.
