There was some that wanted Allardyce and not emery.

Unfortunately whoever they bring I. There's going to be people moaning... We're going down and our training facilities are worse than the local youth clubs.

I think Howe would be able to get fans onside. He's very analytical, calls it straight with what he's seen on the pitch. Bruce was awful in front of the media which really hurt him.

You have to have balls of steel to manage this club!!

Very few people have understood this!

The ones that did all had some connection to this area, either through family, friends or association.

I know it's a cliche, but this club is different!

You have to buy into the people and the city/area, before you are able to buy into the club, and then you have to have the support of the owners.

If you can't do that, you will fail.

If you can show you are working your arse off, like we do every week, then we will be with you through thick and thin!

It's not Rocket Science!!

Applications Welcome!

I give you Rafa, no association - it worked

Give fonseca then give him villarreals best players and 500 Million

Then fund out who emery is after and buy them too

I'm clearly winning this. I was watching that Bournemouth team play in league 2

Well I did hint at it with the "inside line"...I recall we've discussed Howe before and you lived down that way. This idea that because he was relegated then he is ****e, I honestly don't know how people work this out. Plenty people have been relegated. Was Wenger not relegated at Nancy before Monaco? Sir Bobby was relegated with Fulham before struggling in the old 2nd division and getting bulleted. The great Antonio Conte, just look up Arezzo <laugh> Zidane although not relegated had a torrid time at Castilla.

Look away now if your Rafman. Benitez was sacked by Valladolid (bottom with two wins from 23 games and nine points adrift of safety, though they’d duly escape once he’d left), sacked by second-tier Osasuna (in the relegation zone with one win from nine games, though they’d duly escape once he’d left), and took Extremadura up and then down again before he decided that a gap year was in order.

Plenty of examples of managers having tough times. Sometimes clubs are a bad fit, sometimes managers aren't the finished article, some clubs are an impossible task.

It's got nothing to do with Howe running out of steam, looking like a wreck and them being relegated. He's a very average manager. Getting him in after a takeover is a side step, we might as well keep Bruce if we're going for Howe.

Bruce was below average so its not a side step

Guy changed his mind due to a leak in the UK press and nothing else. This reporting was what alerted VillaReal and started 20 questions to Emery.

So what you're saying we were tapping him up then.

Villareal had no idea of any communication from us.

What a load of bollox. Howe would at least have them training a few days a week without ****ing off to Portugal on international breaks. The guy was being hailed as the great up and coming young English manager until one **** season that was hit by injuries to key players (see wilson) and that dumpy **** we signed going on strike. The behind closed doors games worked out to be a disaster for them.

If it's Howe, it's Howe. But I don't like it.

I don't know or understand why it can't be Favre, I don't understand why they haven't secured the services and subsequent opinions of Campos or Rangnick. I don't know why it's taken a month or more, I don't know why they feel a bit at sea with it all. And I never will.
