That's not how it works.. They have discussions agree then they make offers..

They would have to talk to his reps first to see if he's interested, then they would have to talk to Villareal, then they can talk to him. Then contracts.

By the sounds of it, it never went beyond the initial stage.

Exactly. I like the Post-Takeover-Roy a lot.

If we were say 15th it might have come off.

Also they can't show a new manager plans they haven't put in place yet.

Facilities will be at tender stage of that far at all and there is uncertainty surrounding funds from sponsorship etc

It's far to naive to just jump to them being useless... They've got this far haven't they?

Bollox. They sat there doing a mutual masturbation zoom call

Ffs he quite clearly gave the impression he would come and then changed his mind.

There's nothing anyone can do it wasn't about money.. It was the clubs actual position, clarity of plans and him being happy where he is..

He should've said no and not lead them on.. He's a cock tease

Ten Hag isn't interested.

There's more chance of Dean Smith and John Terry.

We don't really know who is or isn't interested but there's plenty of keen interest.

They'll pick the next best option who knows it might be for the better

This is accurate.

Villarreal never had contact or knew anything about an offer.

You're saying he wasted our time, we pursued a man in a job and then didn't even land a real offer. He has decided nah we aren't worth it, which we aren't considering he got them in the Champions League.

Mandy needs to hire a ****ing manager before the end of the century. Time wasters is our middle name.

Favre three weeks ago now we have to pray Howe says yes.

I'm sure they'll get someone in before Brentford.

They tried to get a big fish which is encouraging imo

I'm very happy with the person they went for.

But it didn't work, I think Eddie Howe will have the job by tomorrow.

That'll do... He's not my ideal choice and I didn't want him at all until recently when our position became ever more clear.

Get him in and start the rebuild

If he keeps us up I'll be overjoyed with the fella.

I think he's an option to keep if we went down too

Literally anyone on the list will do.

Interesting that ballague said Xavi Conte and low knocked us back

Means it could be anyone yet

Xavi would have been a terrible one tbh, glad he said no.

Low is an interesting choice, out of left field. That's a long term pick.

If Howe comes in, it won't be for a rebuild, he will be a stop gap until the Summer. If he impresses, he might get an extra year, but it won't be long term.
