Have the owners even tried to get Favre, for example? What was the thinking behind cutting Bruce but having a) no plan, and b) leaving his assistants?

I was happy yesterday, we finally had clarity and ambition. From what we've read last night and this morning, we made a complete hash of it. It's now undeniable that we're moving down the list and we've shot ourselves firmly in the foot by not doing very simple things correctly and as looks likely will be left with a younger Steve Bruce, who won't be backed by the fans from day one (sound familiar?) facing relegation. All of which was avoidable.

It has been a nightmarish start to life for the new owners. Whether in 3 years it's all a distant memory, who knows. But I might be dead in three years and it's ****ing annoying that I've got to spend half of that time watching Eddie Howe try to get us promoted.

I said the same thing before the emery news and that is that the surface of the water tells you nothing about what's going on underneath.

I still believe they've got other perfectly capable managers in the bag.

The guy didn't fancy it and they'll enjoy coming up with the worst explanation for it.

Its all part of a grand plan. They now sit back watch Everton get Twatted by Spurs new manager bounce on Sunday and approach Rafa for the 7th time.

No, I don't think so, mate.

Charnley is still here, attending meetings. There's still no 'board' appointments. From what Caulkin has said, this has been an absolute clusterfuck by Staveley & Co, who've made such an almighty mess it may be impossible to clean up now until the Summer, which means somehow praying that Jones isn't as dreadful as he seems.

Caulkin even saying we were "miles away" on wages. I've always had that niggling doubt that we really have access to a lot of funds, Emery was kind of an appointment that maybe put that to bed. But then you start hearing about the haggling, the lowballing, the fact Charnley is in charge. Oh, man, this is making feel a bit sick to be honest! I can't believe they've got it so ****ing wrong, so ****ing fast!

All they needed - and they MUST have known this - was a Chief Exec at the very least (Kenyon type), then if they didn't know on manager get a Sporting Director on board in the first days. It's a ****ing MONTH and we don't even look like we have the faintest idea what's happening.

This is going to be a media field day and if Staveley's appearance in court vs Barclays is anything to go by, she's going to start flapping more and more. I get this horrible, sinking feeling that this woman is WAY out of here depth.

It's unbelievable. The bloke had a change of heart and now the media are enjoying blaming stavely.. Just like they did for 18 months.

They want to be ****s.. They hate our takeover and they hate her for it, so they're after her and our fans are taking the bait
Was he ever offered the job or just sounded out?

He obviously gave a verbal nod of some description.. Enough for nufc to think it was on.

The fact is we don't know, so I refuse to be drawn into the instant criticism of our own.
it's exactly what the media want to put out there..

Whoever the **** blabbed to Craig Hope needs to learn from this experience. However nice the journalists may seem they won't think twice about starting a snowball story off and will crave the attention.

Keep shtum then announce things as and when deals are done and not a moment before.

It's got to be the same idiots thinking you can just go out a get Mbappe that are crying their eyes out.

The clubs going down ffs this was almost a really big appointment considering that and the state of the facilities.

Take some courage from it instead of being like cry babies.

My only issue with Eddie Howe is how beaten and broken the poor **** looked during those remaining games of Bournemouth's relegation season. Nothing he tried worked. Other than that he was the next big British managerial hope. If he's appointed lets see howe he does.
