I'm hoping Norwich send us bottom tomorrow. It'll mean a couple of wins and we're out the bottom 3.. The next 3 or 4 we can potentially get a few wins from It's an ideal time for a new manager to come in.
I've heard from a very unreliable source (a drunk guy in the garter) Jones is staying, so I guess that means martinez
In the position the clubs in I find it hard to believe ten hag would come Martinez seems the most likely to me.
This is the problem for me. Martinez is uninspiring, it’s not a step away from Ashley, it’s a guy desperately trying to get a job in the PL but knowing none of the top 10 will take him. He’s the kind of guy, like Rafa, who would’ve signed a deal with Ashley thinking he could rise above it. He’s got a really poor record bar some ****ing fluke FA Cup win several lifetimes ago. Was dreadful at Everton. What could he possibly learn in international part time football with a team of megastars that translates to this plight? This is again where I think the owners are ****ing up, we can’t get a Conte, a Poch, we need a decent, hungry appointment like Pouchys long lost lover, Gallardo. But we’ll end up with someone who would’ve happily started the day the owners came in. I just get ****ing frustrated with the ineptitude of rich people.
They had better get a move on because Norwich have winnable games against Leeds and Brentford and we could be cut adrift. Brighton played superb 2nd half against Liverpool so can't see us getting anything there, especially if we churn out the same rubbish as previous games. One good thing is I am hoping Dubs is back from next week. ( Jones says he's flying in training but not fit enough today ???? )
Me personally I agree but I don’t think it was by choice by the new people. I think it would have been a boost for the fans and players if a manager had been appointed and was not necessarily in charge for today but could see what **** tools he has.
We are just being sensible and none of this fantasy ****. So what if we are negative. It’s hard to be positive. You lot seem to think there is a lot of hold at the bottom of the rainbow. Oh wait. There is. Ah well.
We have Brighton next I think. We ain’t beat them since Feb 17 and the last two performances against them leave a lot to be desired. Brighton will destroy that team if it plays like it has the last two games.
Why? You don’t along with 99% of everybody else have a clue as to what is really happening behind the scenes. So why pick a negative as opposed to a neutral stance and viewpoint?
