There were some rumours early season after our start that Ross had 6 games to get things going or Mick Harford was lined up to come in.

We then had a decent winning run and this went all quiet.

I wonder if Harford is in the reckoning as he's barely been mentioned.

I certainly think they are going through the process
There has been no real info being leaked just rumours and speculation.
I'm still hoping that this is why Parkinson and Ainsworth ended up top of the betting
It would not surprise me to see someone come out of the pack and get the job. It happens fairly regularly
Stendel / Pearson have gone under the radar because I believe they talked to them early in the process.
Maybe wishful thinking but I think it will be one of those two.

(queue Parkinson appointed in next 2 hours)
We need it sorting tonight or first thing tomorrow before training

Thought he stepped aside at Luton on health grounds?

That’s one of the frustrations.

It LOOKED like a perfectly planned and timed move, review when we’ve a 2 week break.

It turned out to be another **** cannon. It’s caused arguments and speculation galore, further destabilising the fan base and potentially the club.

**** knows what the frame of mind is in the squad for another tough away game where we really ****ing need leadership and a result.

It makes me think whats going on planning wise hope they sort it all out asap.

I e already said I think it’s ridiculous that our recruitment team should have interviewed the candidates ( if indeed they did) as it was obvious Pearson would probably want his own staff( probably including his recruitment team).
As clueless as Hill and Coton appear to be surely even they are not daft enough to jeopardise their own jobs.
Out of the known candidates I believe Pearson is the best bet and bringing Phillips in wouldn’t be a bad thing. I have already said that it is quite logical for any Manager worth his salt to want to bring in his own men with him.
I do hope that he is not overlooked for reasons of cost as I believe he would be the sort of bloke that could take us all the way back to the Premier League therefore he would be cost effective.
The optimist in me hopes that if Pearson doesn’t get the job it is because there is an alternative reason, like, potential takeover guys only wanting a short term contract being offered at this time.
I suspect I am gonna be disappointed.

I wonder if hill or cotton see themselves as the next Wilkinson saviour?

Has Parky got lost at the AOL then?

Or has someone tied him up and chucked him in the broom cupboard?

Seems like he's been there for ages from all these ITK rumours.

In the absence of anyone else, I'd be happy for James Fowler to oversee this weekend's match. Robins decided to stay loyal to Coventry and got beat off Tranmere. Maybe Ainsworth will suffer the same fate, while leaving a bad taste in his mouth by ramming his sh**housery down his throat.

2 lads on rtg saying Parkinson has signed an 18 month deal to be announced tomorrow.

Guess we suck it up and get behind the team.
