Don't blame him for leaving for the money but just say so, if somebody offered me double the money I would be off like a shot, but he is trying to say we spend nothing and he wanted more control over transfers. Which is funny because he signed a contract 4 weeks ago and was happy

From what I can make out of this mess...he was happy with the rolling contract because he always had an eye on moving on. Hence he didn't relocate to the area. He never seemed happy (I know he's Scottish!) But he was clearly always angling for a move away...imo.
It was said his agent contacted Burnley when they sacked their manager

If I remember correctly we dilly dallied over announcing AN as manager too. In fact it was after his first game in charge!
